Is this safe in ponds for catfish to be eating ? How many gallons will this treat ?

This product is safe for use with fish and plants.
Is this harmful to dogs who dring out of the Koi pond?

 There has not been any research done on its effects on dogs, cats or wildlife of any kind. It is recommended to not allow dogs and cats to drink from backyard ponds in general due to the ability to pick up parasites and other illnesses from them. We advise keeping them away while using this product, since it is intended for fish and pond plants only.
After doing 3 treatments how long do I have to wait to treat again?

If you are addressing a problem, dose every three days or 72 hours, up to 3 total doses, then give the pond a week off from it. One or two doses is usually enough. Make sure you have plenty of water movement, aeration and filtration. For maintenance purposes, dose whenever you start seeing algae forming or at most, once a week.
Is this safe to use in pools for ducks

This treatment is only for use in fountains and ornamental ponds with synthetic liners.

Quick result, fish safe, algae hasn’t returned

Had a lot of stringy/bubbly algae that was difficult to remove in an approximately 7,000 gallon koi pond. In previous years I was able to manually remove the surface algae but this year it was a type that couldn’t fully be removed by a pool skimmer or rake. I did a lot of research to find something fish and aquifer safe and this was the best-priced option. It only took one treatment to remove the algae and it hasn’t come back. Also used a muck/sludge treatment simultaneously and haven’t noticed any additional waste. It fully cleared after two days with a constant running filter. The fish are still healthy and we can actually see them again. It didn’t totally obliterate all of the algae so they have a bit to feed on along the areas with plants. It only needed one treatment so we have a lot left to use in future years.

It works like it says!

We have a 300 gallon bait tank that was getting way too much algae. We did 2 treatments and it cleared everything up.

worked somewhat

I used as directed ,it definitely made a difference in the color of my pond but did not totally clear the green color. controlled it so it did not get any worse so all in all it did work, but I should have bought a 2nd jug to do it again

for hopeless cases

We are renting a house with a koi pond that has not been maintained in years. The water was like soup. We got fed up with it and bought a proper pump and filter, scraped and scraped all the leaves and muck out that we could, but the water was still murky green soup. We followed the directions and gave it three days of this treatment and the water is actually looking a lot clearer! I think it’ll take many filter cleanings and some new plants to get it all the way there, but this product made a huge impact.

It works great !!

Truly amazing stuff ,my husband put on the pond and within a few days the algae was disappearing and chewy never ever fails to deliver super fast !!

Algae Control Water Treatment

A great algae remover

A great algae remover!. I was using another brand but my pond person recommended the tetra brand! In my opinion, it worked much better and he use much less of this product than the API brand.
