What size pump do I need for an approximately 200 gal pond?

To find the right size for your pond or garden, you will need to line up the size pump with whatever you are using it for. If you are using it for a filter, you should move half of the water in the pond every hour minimum. If you're looking to build a waterfall, you need 100 gallons per hour per inch of weir (width of falls) at the top of the waterfall.
What size tubing do I need to hook on this

A 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch tubing can be attached to the barbed fitting on diverter, or 1 in. tubing can be attached directly to the threaded diverter stem (horizontal outlet).
Can I use this in a 55 gallon fishtank for cathish?

This pump is intended for ponds and to be completely submerged. It may be to large for a regular tank.

perfect power for 300 gal pond

I’m using this in a 300 gallon pond with the Tetra flat box filter. It’s just the right horsepower and the set up works great. The hose connection is a little easy to knock loose, but really not a problem, just occasionally disconnects from the filter when pulling it out for cleaning. I look forward to connecting another tube on the top and running it to a little water feature. I think it should work fine. Can’t beat the price.

Pump works great...I hooked up my fountain and the fish love it. My pond is small...8 ft by 12 ft and about 2 ft deep.

So far as advertised

So far it does as it’s advertised. Just a plain old pump no adjustment or anything. Not the most stable stuff things though.

A great pump

I was thrilled to find this pump at Chewys.com and get it so quickly. The pump I’d had since 2013 quit working. I needed the replacement quick. It replaced the same exact model, I think 7 years for the price was a good deal.

WORKS AWESOME FOR UNDER WATER FILTRATION

I bought this to go with my box filter and put it in my 100 gallon aquarium. Works awesome, took the cloudiness and all of the particles out of my aquarium and my water is now crystal clear.

Perfect waterfall

The pump is a good size, power and value. My pond is 259 gallons with waterfall over rocks. This pump provides enough power to filter and have the waterfall going.

Dissatisfaction

If I could give this a no-star rating, I would. There is no attachment to pump out of water and no adjustment valve. Absolutely terrible. I recommend to never buy unless you have had before and liked it.

Don't go by photo on the product!

This pump does not have an attachment to link it to a hose to pump the water out of landscaping. the best it does is to slightly bubble the water. This was definitely not what I wanted.
