I'm impressed by Chewy!!
My whisperer quit working and I sent Chewy a message and within minutes they responded and setup my new one to be shipped to me ASAP!! Things happen, sometimes things quit working, but they were on it!! I will definitely be shopping with them more often their customer satisfaction is a priority!! Let's face it that's not a thing these days!! It's been about a month and it's still working and keeping my tank nice and clean!! Thank you Chewy I'm definitely a happy customer!!

I have 3 75 gallon tanks and use 3 in each one, keeps my turtle tanks super clean and water clear.. Been using these for years and I love them, never had any issues.
BAD
1st it was packed with a 30 pound bag of food. Needless to say it was all over inside the chewy box. Pieces missing. It does not want to hang on the tank. HATE IT, don't recommend

My daughter has had several different filters. They didn't last. These filters are great. Bought one for back up in case this one dies.
does what it needs to do
not necessarily meant for the water capacity of a 40 gallon tank in my opinion, but it does it's job so i can't complain too much as it's only a temp filter.
Would not recommend, product misleading
I got this filter for a 20 gallon long tank and would not recommend it to anyone. The filter itself is massive, almost reaching the bottom even tho its the reccomended size. The filter is loud and the stream is not gentle whatsoever. I had it running for about an hour and it left a massive pit in the sand. The filter also left bits of who knows what floating around the tank (i washed it prior to using and there where still things coming off of it). I got this for my axolotl and it just isnt a good fit in every way. I took it out prior to putting my animal back in the tank to avoid it becoming stressed and even before that i was scooping out bits of black particles that came from the filter

Works great
The product was larger than expected, but that's my fault bc I accidentally ordered a size up. Mine did not come with suction cups not sure if that is an extra purchase. Does not sit against the side, sort of floats up so just propped a rock beside it and had no issues. INCREDIBLY QUIET!!

Bought pump to replace one in 10 gallon aquarium. Cleared water within a day. Like it very much.
