Really works!
I really don’t like bug spray. This definitely works. I have been using it for three years. It may not be instantaneous but after a few minutes mosquitoes are gone. I put it on the table just before I go outside and the mosquitoes are gone when I come out! Right now I’m buying a second one for a friend!
Amazing
This little green cylinder is AMAZING. I was skeptical at first and already had the mindset of either; it wont 100% work or the smell would be nauseating. My scense of smell is beyond annoying, I can't hardly handle any strong smells or I get extremely nauseous. To my suprise this has absolutely ZERO scent. Let me tell you how happy I was!!!! As for it truly working, all I can say is that I live in Georgia and they are ridiculous here. Since I've had this, rarely do I see them flying within feet of our table and chiars.. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You wont be annoyed by them blood suckers for long. I Highly recommend!
Easy to use
Ok, so this took a little getting use to. It was easy to install the fuel and mat. You twist the bottom to turn it on, but it only turns on if you see the light in the tiny hole. It takes a few times to get it going. It worked really well for our patio. It’s not good for windy nights but when it’s still, it’s great! No bugs came near us! Definitely will use for our outdoor summer parties!
Faulty?
I ordered this for our backyard for a family get together we were having. Went to use it for the first time and it does not work. Really bummed, watched many videos making sure I am doing it right and nothing. Does not get hot.
Actually works
I recently received a Thermacell Patio Shield unit in Forest green. I live in Georgia. Tonight as I was working in the yard, I noticed I got bit by a mosquito. I went and turned on my Thermocell patio shield. It came with 1 fuel cartridge and 3 repellent mats. I didnt notice any odors. I sat to take a break near the unit. I actually watched a mosquito fly towards me and then turn around and leave. I stayed outside for over an hour and I didnt see or feel anymore mosquitos. Good safe product. No DEET. Easy clear instructions also.
Works to keep flying bugs away
Living in Louisiana there is no shortage of mosquitoes and flying bugs. I placed Thermacell on the patio table and was surprised that none of us got bitten that night-it works. I have also used it on the picnic table down in the yard and it repelled bugs there too and that’s all grassy area.
Mossies Love me, but this Works
I am allergic to Deet and most other products dont work on me. Living in the swampy south does not make things easy as the mosquitoes will carry you away by the swarm. Since I cant use Deet, but want to enjoy my yard, I tried the Thermacell. It works great! No sticky substances, no spraying misters filled with noxious chemicals and no mosquitoes. Im so glad I found this!
pleasantly surprised.
Wow. I'm not sure what I was expecting but this exceeds it. I spend the majority of my time outside in Louisiana where the mosquitoes are big as Hawks. I love the fact that I can sit outside with my plants, not smelling like repellent as well as not getting ate up. 100% would recommend and will continue to buy!
Awesome for outdoors!
This portable mosquito repellent is so convenient and it’s small enough to fit in your backpack. It’s great for hiking, camping, and really any type of outdoor activities. I like that I don’t have to use a messy spray and there’s no scent to it. The mats last for hours and change color when they need to be changed.
Pretty Good
This seems to work pretty well. I still had some mosquito bites, but it definitely seemed to reduce the number.
