I got this to aid a dog with flea issues. He is severely allergic to fleas. One bite and he turns beat red. I have been adding a scoop to his meals and he does seem much better. The other dogs seem to be benefiting as well. They enjoy eating it.

Didn't help my English Bulldogs

I got this because chewy recommended this for my bulldogs yeast issues. Didn't work, plus two of them quit eating their food. Plus it's messy. Also, one bulldog got it up her nose. It was kinda funny but not. Me forgetting short nose breeds makes it a little harder to put powder on food without it going up their nose. Mind you I have not yet contacted chewy. I still think Chewy is an awesome company.

Fantastic Product

I have given my Danes brewers yeast with garlic for 30 years however I couldnt find the powder and the pills dont work as well. I am so glad Chewy has it. I have been getting all my pet needs at Chewy for several years. Great Company and I love to only have to go to my front door to get a bunch of dog food!

I use this for my dogs to supplement homemade food, and for my ducks to give them niacin which is lacking in chicken feed. It's great and affordable.

Great for ducks!

We needed a niacin source for ducklings and this was perfect! They love it. It mixes in easily, and the included scoop makes it easy to portion. HOWEVER. The scoop will likely be buried on arrival and it's a big tub and it absolutely reeks like garlic. Like... I love garlic, but if you gotta dig the scoop out be prepared to dig garlic out from under your nails. Super garlicky. My ducks are vampire-proof.

Four Dogs at home

I have 4 dogs, 9 yr old mini dachshund, Two Anatolians, 9,10 yrs old and a 1 yr old GSD. All love this sprinkled on their food so no problems there I hope this helps with reducing flees and ticks.

flea and tic preventative

I recently heard of an alternative for flea and tic prevention using the brewer's yeast/garlic and coconut oil. Mix 1 1/8 cup melted coconut oil and 1/2 cup of brewer's yeast and blend well. Pour into silicone shaped ice cube trays ( i have paw prints) and refrigerate. It makes for a tasty treat and my dog loves it. 1 small treat would be good for a 20 lb dog i give my 70 dog 3 treats daily.

My dogs like it. It just needs more garlic powder to ward off the fleas. Less sand more garlic and yeast. The price us awesome. Better than pet guard
