Is this effective to eliminate skunk odors that linger weeks after the dog has been sprayed? I've tried natural treatments however the odor is still there a little and its been a couple weeks

This shampoo is specifically designed to remove all traces of skunk spray from your intrepid pup’s coat. The formula is gentle on sensitive skin, but powerful enough to remove the smell. Once applied the first time, if the odor persists, continue to reapply as necessary.

Wow this stuff works

My pibble took a direct spray to the face -forehead, cheeks, in the eyes, ears, nose mouth. The standard home recipe mix worked but was so harsh and traumatizing for her, especially around her eyes. 2 baths of that stuff and her face was still horribly ripe. Bought this to do a face specific cleanse since it's gentle. Applied directly to face with microfiber rag and lathered up her face and ears. After 10 minutes I rinsed' it off with other wet microfiber rags. Skunk smell is nearly gone (still in her ear canals, nose and mouth, but what are you gonna do). I don't like the smell this solution leaves behind, it's super strong, but I'll take it over skunk oil smell! If you have a dog, you need this on hand for just in case, trust me.

Skunk Off miracle product

I was skeptical. This stuff was AMAZING. I was shocked. My 23 lb medium hair pup was sprayed directly in the face eyes and again on her backside. The skunk was only 1 foot away. It was horrific. This happened 2 months ago. After 8 total baths with all sorts of stuff every time she got even slightly wet from rain or another bath the skunk smell poured off of her again. I poured this shampoo directly on her without wetting her (that's what you have to do that's why it's so liquidy) and used the whole bottle head to toe. Massaged it in deep. Everywhere. Let sit for 10 minutes while massaging and rinsed. I was shocked. The skunk smell is COMPLETELY gone. Yes you MUST get a ton of bottles if your dog is big as my pup is only 23 lbs and i needed the entire little bottle. But for how well it works WHEN USED CORRECTLY without wetting your dog down first it's WORTH IT!!!!

My daughter said good

After the pup was skunked, my daughter was in for quite the drudgery of deskunking dog and parts of house. This shampoo seemed to really help and she subsequently bought another bottle.

Save your money

This was totally useless and the cost was to much for it not to work. Sophie ate the backside of a skunk and he hit her full force in the face and ears. I used this and it just made her stink worse.

Happy Girl!

Works well for small dogs

The size of the bottle will not do a large dog any good, but for small dogs it's incredible. I had a dog come to my work today that STANK. I put this on him and let it sit for about 15-20min and it was like he was never skunked. It is a strong smell but it's way better than skunk

Stinky dogs

This product did not do a thing to rid my girls of the smell. I had to call my vet to ask them what I could do. Very disappointed with this product.

little bottle

I wished it worked. Liked the smell, but it didn’t work. It’s very watery, and this is such a tiny amount of product completely unsuitable for dealing with a large double-coated dog! My other skunk shampoo comes in at least a 32oz bottle...

Awful Smell

I did not use this because the perfumy smell almost knocked me out. It is much worse than the skunk smell. Also, it was packaged with some other items and they smell so bad from the perfume smell that they are not usable.
