Help what?
By Sissysmama on Feb 25, 2021
So, I ordered this to help with trying to cut her nails. I got her used to it then tried to cut her nails and It didn't help at all. She still won't let me cut them. I feel that I wasted my money on this since it doesn't seem to work for anything.

It Touched his Eyeballs!
By Henny on Dec 7, 2020
After trying different ways to put the ThunderCap on my Aussie, it touched his eyeballs. I knew it was touching his eyes because the ThunderCap had wet ovals above his eyes. None of the reviews mentioned the cap touching the eyes. I called the manufacturer & sent pictures of my dog wearing the cap. ThunderWorks stated, "If the eye area is continuously wet from your pets eyes, that could cause irritation and it should be removed. I do not believe going up to a large would help the issue as it could potentially be baggy around the snout". We'll keep using the ThunderShirt and the ThunderWunders since those work for him. Life. Changing.
By Rachel on Aug 23, 2020
We rescued a 5yo rottie mix who has SEVERE leash reactivity. She would growl, lunge, and ultimately was uncontrollable by even my 190lb husband. We tried everything and it was getting to the point where we were considering the reality that we couldn't care for her and might have to surrender her back to the rescue...But then we randomly discovered this product and it's absolutely saved our walks and relationship with our dog. When the cap is on, she's much more calm and we think she feels more in control of the situation when we see another dog. Our lives will never be the same...truly! SO thankful for this product. A true Godsend
By Azer on Sep 5, 2020
Almost a week ago my 19 y/o husky has been anxiously pacing and whining. Keeping myself and my other dog up for days. Meds from the vet not doing much, him hinting that it might be time to put her down. Then I remembered that during storms she was always better when her eyes were covered. I bought this as one of my last resorts. she's been sleeping for an hour now. It's amazing.

Thunder Cap
By Charlie on Jun 28, 2020
Well Charlie has stress issues riding in the car. This cap helped my daughter's dog but not Charlie. He still drooled and was very nervous with it on. I even tried to ease him into it by the instructions. Nope didn't work on him at all. However, it's great for some dogs, but not mine.

Like flipping a switch!
By Tooldiva on Apr 30, 2020
My sheltie takes her job of protecting the car very seriously and the barking has been a problem for the past year. I tried the Manners Minder treat dispenser, blacking out the windows, keeping her in a hammock on the back seat, teaching her "quiet" command. All to no avail. The moment I put the ThunderCap on her she laid down and was very docile. She is accustomed to wearing an orange safety vest and other things, so did not paw at the cap. She still barks at some sounds, but not when she sees a bicycle or other triggers. Note the this is designed to use with a collar and I use a harness which is always better for small, delicate dogs, so a modification might be needed. However, it is a great option for sensitive dogs. … more

Walks are more enjoyable
By Alison on May 3, 2020
My dog is very reactive on walks to the point where I hated walking him and rarely did it. Now he doesn’t see people or dogs until we are almost past them and if I have him distracted in some way he doesn’t even notice them at all. Just for comparison, he is a 60lb standard labradoodle and wears a large perfectly. This has saved our walks!

Really helps calm my dog
By lmeser61 on Apr 18, 2020
This cap really calms my dog down in a way other things have not. It's very easy to put on and off. I highly recommend it if you have a dog with high anxiety or stress.

Works as well as I hoped

I bought the thunder cap for my dog. Whenever another dog comes on tv, my dog goes insane. Now, with the thunder cap, he just lays there calm and collect!!! I love it!

Did not work for my scaredy cat Mastiff
By Cher on Feb 25, 2020
My vet recommended this calming cap for my scaredy cat and anxious Mastiff. It didn't work for him. He became more anxious and the whole time he was trying to paw his face to get it off. He then rubbed his face on the yard until the calming cap came loose and dangled drunkenly from his collar. Needless to say I returned it.
