    My rescue dog, Baxter, suffers from extreme separation anxiety. And that is most likely the reason that I'm his fourth owner in only two years. Instead of doping my dog up with medications from the vet, I have found these ThunderShirts to be very effective in helping to treat anxiety. Instead of doping my dog up with medications from the vet, I have found these ThunderShirts to be very effective in helping to treat anxiety. I bought one of these shirts for Baxter about four months ago, and its been so effective that I wanted to always have an extra one as a backup. I also use the ThunderShirt Calming Spray, and am currently testing their Calming Chews. Poor Baxter has come a long way since November 30, 2017 when he first came to live with me. From a frightened, hyper-dog, he has calmed down and turned into "Mr. Personality." And with the use of these ThunderShirts when I must leave him alone, I no longer come home to a dog that is hyperventilating and spewing bloody stools out his rear end. Thank you, ThunderShirt!     I am ok with this. It definitely slows our pup down but I am not sire if it is because it makes him feel safe or just confined. We will continue to work with hi on it and I may update at a later date. For reference we have a 70 lb german shepherd with anxiety in cars, slippery floors, loud noises, I am ok with this.
