    one of my dogs is terrified of thunder and loud noises like fireworks. for years I have done numerous things to try to help her including playing loud music and covering her with blankets. it was not very effective. recently she started stuffing herself under my bed, she is a 50lb dog and when she was one of my dogs is terrified of thunder and loud noises like fireworks. for years I have done numerous things to try to help her including playing loud music and covering her with blankets. it was not very effective. recently she started stuffing herself under my bed, she is a 50lb dog and when she was a puppy loved laying under there, now she is too big and gets stuck once she stuffs herself. I purchased this because I felt terrible that she is still so scared and I've used it at least 5 times in the recent weeks and it seems to help her a lot. it takes the edge off, she doesn't try to hide under the bed, I just put the shirt on and then I cover her with a blanket while my AC is on and she lays by my bed. I wish I got this sooner to help her. … more

    Not for my boy!

    Regardless of trying this for a couple of days before the 4th of July so that he'd be used to it. He was alright with wearing it and it seemed fine .... on the days BEFORE the fireworks. It didn't help at all when we really needed it to and had to end up giving him a doggie sedative.
