Nervous Shih Tzu
I have tried several times with this Thundershirt, both with and without the spray, on my very nervous nine-year-old Shih Tzu. Oreo gets exceedingly freaked out during any kind of rain- with or without thunder. Just the sound of the raindrops on our window unit AC causes her to hyperventilate and wake everyone up. I have missed the 45-day return period, so I'm stuck with an overpriced piece of knit fabric that makes Oreo look like a little sausage! She doesn't mind wearing it- I just wish it brought her some relief!
PERFECT FIT & MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE!
I'm beyond grateful that I made this purchase. At first I thought it seemed a bit pricey. Yet, thought IF it worked it sure would make life a bit easier on my little guy...and myself. Yep, it works wonderfully. The fit was described perfectly allowing me to make an informed decision. He doen't mind wearing it at all! He's very sensitive to VERY loud vehicles. The ThunderShirt worked as described. I folllowed the direction exactly. The pheromone spray didn't seem to do much the first several times. Now, he's calm...although plays. The loud vehicles he will glance at but doesn't start running in the opposite direction. THANK YOU CHEWY FOR MAKING THIS AVAILABLE! I highly recommend the ThunderShirt to any pet-parent that has a Fur Baby that struggles with anxiiety or fear over such things...including thunderstorms and fireworks.
Seems To Work!
Our Jack Russell seemed fairly calm during the storm and while wearing the thundershirt. He would otherwise be shaking and panting. Our Blueheeler though was still a bit nervous during the storm and while wearing the thundershirt. However, she was nowhere as anxious or shaky as she would have been without it.

I'm really pleased
Cookie has pretty bad separation anxiety and while the coat hasn't completely eliminated it, it has helped in quieting her and she isn't freaking out and scratching at the door whenever I step out.
