I got this for our new kitten to help them adjust. Was not interested in it at all. Tried to mix with wet and dry food, they still ate around it and saved it for last if they were still hungry. Also our older 5 year old cat couldn't care less about it and refused to eat it.
My cat doesn't like this paw cream, but she doesn't like catnip as well, so that can be the reason. Also it's a weird idea to apply to paws since my cat tries to run away and smears the cream all over the floor. The cream might be calming, but because of 'clean your floor' situation after the application I'll not use it and giving it 3 stars
I had bought the duo with the thunder wonder and the feliaway end it was not posted. I do think other pet owners should know that my cat with one of these items was pulling his hair out and obsessively grooming. That causes the pet owner anxiety, loss of sleep, and I had made a vet appointment for Wednesday if he had not stopped, pulling his hair out and over grooming. Once I took out the Filaway and stopped giving him the thunder wonder. But he has stopped so one of these products caused it and it was not pretty he now has two bold spots. And constantly gagged on his fur balls for two days..
I have 3 cats that were previously outdoor only. I've known they don't like fish flavored canned food but didn't think about this paste being salmon flavored. I know they are not used to licking my finger so when that didn't work, I put it on their nose and they actually ran away :( Certainly didn't want to give it another try :(
I'm lovin' it!! May not be or work for everyone. All cats are different just like people. 50% of cats don't like or are affected by cat nip. They never developed the sensory gene for it. I'm sure not all cats will react the same with the Thunder Wunder Calming Gel. I didn't like the idea of putting it on my fur babies paws as it is just extra mess to clean up on the floors or other surfaces. There's always a tad bit of residual. However, I got the Salmon flavored gel and I let her lick it right from my fingertip or her bowl. She loves the taste. She quite literally pings off the walls most of the day and night. I love her energy but I do need some down time too. I give her about a Tblsp of Thunder Wunder about 25-30 minutes before I want her calmed down and it helps greatly!! It does not make her comatose or even "dull" but takes the "ping" down a notch or two. I appreciate the natural ingredients and for the amount a person would use at any given time I feel it's cost efficient. that's always a facter in many choices, good or bad.
Neither of my cats like the smell. The older cat is not the problem, but she is repulsed by the smell. I tried it for my scared black cat which I need to calm down, to cut his nails He does nothing but track it all over the rug. Wasted $17. You should really stop advertising this. It's useless.
My kitty loves it!!!!! I put the paste on my finger NOT on his paws. I did this after reading all of the reviews as to why some people put the paste on the paws and it made a mess or kitty didn't like it. So, I took a different approach and it worked. So to those people I recommend put the past on your finger and see if there's a change. If kitty still rejects it then kitty really doesn't like the paste. Find something else then.
Didn’t even got as far as putting it on her paw, she licked it from my fingertip and then liked it so well she will lick it straight out of the tube also. She thinks it’s an extra type of treat. I definitely will keep on using it for stressful days.
Good texture even my finicky cats like it . i give it to them daily and I think it makes a huge difference in their mood.
My cat loves everything Salmon, so I thought this was a great find to calm her after surgery. Tried massaging into her paws. She took one sniff-lick, and then ran around the house trying to scrape off the rest. This product might work well.....if you can get your furbaby to ingest it.
