Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

PEOPLE

The thin, pointy-tipped end of a TickEase tweezer is designed for removing even the tiniest tick nymphs from people.

  1. Grip the tick as close to the skin’s surface as possible.
  2. Pull upward with a steady, even pressure. Never twist or jerk the tick out.
  3. After removing the tick, thoroughly clean the bite area and your hands with rubbing alcohol, an iodine scrub, or soap and water.

PETS

The end of a TickEase with the slotted scoop is designed for removing larger or engorged ticks from pets and other animals.

  1. Place the slotted scoop against the skin.
  2. Slide the scoop under the tick’s mouthparts and as far back as possible.
  3. Pry or lift the tick carefully from the skin with steady, even pressure.
  4. After removing the tick, thoroughly clean the bite area and your hands with rubbing alcohol, an iodine scrub, or soap and water.

    By on

This tool is a must have! It lets u easily remove the entire tic at once, n with minimum pull or discomfort. I have used it on humans as well as dogs. I love that it is easily sterilized too, as opposed to similar plastic tools I have seen. I highly recommend.

works well depending on size of tick

    By on

Larger ticks easy to remove with the pet side of the tool. Small ones slip through it and it doesn’t work. The human side is super sharp but also good for use on dog too

I tried to use these and the tip would not even grip the tick so I ended up just using a pair of my tweezers.
