    Easiest litter box system yet!

    By luckeylady8ap on Oct 13, 2019

I have 2 ragdolls and so far this has been the easiest litter box management system yet. No litter tracked through the house. Easy transition for us since they were used to the pellet litter. We used Yesterday's News prior to switching to Breeze. Had to switch because once we went from 1 cat to 2 I have 2 ragdolls and so far this has been the easiest litter box management system yet. No litter tracked through the house. Easy transition for us since they were used to the pellet litter. We used Yesterday's News prior to switching to Breeze. Had to switch because once we went from 1 cat to 2, I did not feel Yesterday's News could keep up with the additional waste and I was constantly scooping litter or smelling urine. I love the easy change pads and the no urine smell. NONE. Even when you put your nose to a full pad. You still smell #2 but if you remove it quickly, its much better than before. My only complaint and reason for the 4 stars and not 5, is the size. Ragdolls are BIG cats and I wish they came in a bigger size box so it's more comfortable for my cats to use. I do agree with other reviews that when you first open the pellet bag, there is an odd odor but it goes away after the kitties use it for a bit. … more

Tidy Cats needs better quality control.

Mine didn't come with the kitten pads in the box. Not sure why. Didn't figure that out until after it was assembled, which was super frustrating because the (warped) plastic sifter (green part) didn't align correctly with the sidewalls or bottom, making it impossible to clasp the sidewall onto the base Mine didn't come with the kitten pads in the box. Not sure why. Didn't figure that out until after it was assembled, which was super frustrating because the (warped) plastic sifter (green part) didn't align correctly with the sidewalls or bottom, making it impossible to clasp the sidewall onto the base. (Clasping happens when the little kitten-face shaped buttons fit into the sidewall groove/slot on the sides.) Much force and time required to try to align everything together well enough to clamp the sides but since such force was required, it will be impossible to undo that without completely emptying the box and turning it on its side or upside down to pry the sidewall button off. Ugh! However, the cat took to it right away and it is usable-enough without the proper kitten pad and the warped/misaligned plastic parts. I would give this 5 stars if it hadn't been misshapen and 4 stars if it had only been missing the pads. (I ended up using some paper towels and scrap paper from my printer until I can get to Petsmart to buy the pads.) Company needs better quality control. … more
