Are these pellets washable?
Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2018
The pellets are not washable.

Do these pellets work in any litter box?
Answer by ChewyJun 24, 2017
The pellets should be used exclusively for the Breeze system as they are designed to allow liquid waste to pass to the bottom of the Tidy Cats Breeze Cat Litter Box System where the pads absorb it for easy removal.

This litter is not septic approved.

Are there other litters/pellets that will work with this system?

Love the Breeze System!

I have 3 indoor cats and 2 litter boxes. My main problem is all the litter that scatters all over the floor each time they exit the box. I've tried EVERYTHING! My most recent try was using Pretty Litter as well as a large litter pad for when they exit....while I like the Pretty Litter, I still have the same problem with litter being everywhere. I have now switched to the Breeze system and have been on it for about a year now....I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!!! I still have to scoop about every other night and change the pads out at least once or twice a week, but NO MORE SCATTERED LITTER everywhere! It can be a little costly, but to me it's well worth it! I tried to use the pine pellets to help with the cost, but oh no, they end up caking on to the drain area and make just a big mess...also tried some cheaper pad liners - had to double up on them and didn't absorb like the Breeze do - so I've learned you really must use the Breeze pellets and pads if you want the full experience and like I said - it's well worth it to me! Highly recommend!!

breeze litter pellets

The pellets recently received by mail released a big cloud of dust when emptied gently from the bag, into the Breeze litter pan. Dust and pellet fragments continually falling through the bottom grid -of the litter pan, and landing on the pad below. The dust is a big problem; I wonder if its a result of shipping, or if a change in manufacturing. The last 6 months I've purchased Breeze pellets from local pet business, there has been absolutely no dust. I hope this is an isolated event.

Great Product

I run an animal boarding facility. I love the Breeze system. With multiple cats and several different litters being used prior (provided by customers), The Breeze eliminates various litter perfume smells, pellets last a week+, there's no dust, wet paw prints from mashed litter, it's clean and so easy to maintain. Highly recommend this product.

My kitties

My cats used to use the arm&hammer naturals. I was gifted the Tidy Cats Breeze system and they transitioned fairly well. It's a lot easier to scoop and the pads make it smell so much better. I work from home and the litter box is in my office, I don't even notice that it's there. The only draw back is that it's so popular that it is sometimes hard to find the product.

Gave my cat UTI’s

I’m not sure if it was the pellets or the pads but she had two UTI’s in a month and never had one before that and she’s 2 the only think I changed was this litter system. Just a warning to the cat parents out there beware!!!

Pricey but life is easier

We are a multi-cat household. Six. We finally decided to try the Breeze system a few months ago. We still have one litter box with lightweight clumping litter. The beasties use that for pooping, and the Breeze for peeing, believe it or not. When we were younger, hauling regular heavy weight clumping litter from the store to the car to the house wasn't such a big deal. But now, eh, aging costs money...so this is more costly than the lightweight clumping, and way more costly than the heavy clumping type. But the pellet system works. We'd been having one inappropriate pee-er occasionally, and Breeze seems to have solved that problem. We bought a second system, because Breeze controls the urine smell so well. Wish there was a generic version of the pellets, but it's really nice to not be walking on crunchy regular litter all over the place. The pellets can scatter if you've got a 'digger', but you can SEE them. It's nothing like having hundreds of tiny litter particles all over the place.

Best system ever!

If you want a functional, clean, and easy system that replaces that gross traditional litter, look no further...this is by far my favorite system! I only buy it from Chewy's, their prices are consistent and the delivery is really fast.

still not sure about system

i have 2 cats, both indoor/outdoor..i have been using the Breeze system now for about 4 months..not having conventional cat litter on the floors, couch, beds, rugs etc is nice BUT now i have little pellets in the floor that hurt like @#!% when you step on them with bare feet...they also do not vacuum well with robotic vacuums..not having to hunt for poops is nice EXCEPT when a cat has a runny stool YUK...total breakdown and complete cleaning on both upper and lower sections of the system! the pee pads are very nice and i get 2 or 3 days out of each one depending on how much my kitties are outdoors...early on it was hard to find replacement pads which makes the system useless...odor wise i do not find a significant difference...i will keep using the Breeze box (i tossed my old one) but it is more expensive than other litter box options and not as awesome as i had hoped

First time buyer

Just bought these for the first time to go with the breeze system I found at a thrift store. I like it. Less mess of litter tracking all over the house. Doesn’t cover all the poo that well since the pellets are bigger than normal litter. I do scoop every day. So far I’m pleased. Changed the pee pad after one week with 2 cats using and it held some urine.
