Scoop up your litter into a bag and toss it into your garbage. Please do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it outdoors in gutters or storm drains.

Tidy Cat Free and Clear

I cannot stand cat litter that has any kind of fragrance at all! I am sure my cats don't like it either! Non-clumping is not good for my feral cats that I have in a cage and a temperature controlled shed. There is limited room so I only have one large cat box. With five cats the clumping just turns into paste. I have to use non-clumping. This stuff is fairly good. It is just like the generic kind that you can buy for a little bit cheaper. But chewy is convenient since I am older and I can't lift those heavy bags of litter from the shelves to to check out and then my car. Chewy is very convenient!

Aggravating exercise in futility

My bad for missing the fine print. I didn't realize this is NON-CLUMPING litter. I dumped it into my litter boxes immediately upon arrival, as they were very low. When it was time to scoop out the poop and clumps of pee, I was horrified to see the darkened areas of pee just crumble back into the box. I guess I don't see the point in non-clumping litter. You can't ever get rid of the pee spots. What do people do - just wait until the smell is unbearable and dump out the entire box of litter?

Another Litter Disappointment

I bought Tidy Cats Free and Clean Unscented Non Clumping cat litter because I believed the photo on the front of the bag. The litter is shown to be a pale gray. However, when pouring the product, I discovered that the litter was dark gray. Therefore my white cat is now dark grey on her paws and lower half of her body. The dust is awful and the particles so small that they are tracked everywhere. I'm ready to give up and switch to some form of pellet that doesn't turn my white cat colors and doesn't track endlessly through my house.

Excellent transitional litter!

I'm using this litter to transition from the equivalent clumping version to a pine pellet. This litter has been the perfect transition litter for me to use to get my cats away from the clumping litter and move them toward the pellet litter. It doesn't last 10 days for me because I have too many cats using my boxes (5 cats, 6 litter boxes), but it is so similar to the clumping variety that my cats accepted the switch to this litter immediately and it works well enough at absorbing urine and controlling odors that I'm happy with it while I make my transition to pellet litter. I've been using it for almost 1 month so far and expect to use it for another month or two while I complete the transition. Possibly will need to use it longer, depending on how my cats react to the litter changes.

Horrible product

I purchased this Free and Clean unscented litter because I thought it was the same as what I had been buying in the plastic containers. I'm tired of buying plastic jugs/buckets because I'm trying to reduce waste. I was so excited to purchase these bags to refill my plastic containers. Well... this is not the same product that comes in the jugs, even though it has the EXACT same information on the label. These are little shavings of clay. There is no activated charcoal. There are no little pellets of litter to absorb anything (I'm aware it's non-clumping). The odor is instantaneous as soon as my cat pees, and the liquid pools around his feet as he pees. It literally is worse than just using play sand for about 1/4 the cost. I will never purchase again.

Not the same

I'm one of those people that don't read reviews on stuff they've used before, if you're one of those people please read this and take it seriously!! This is NOT the same litter as in the plastic tote. My cats do not like this litter, and neither do I. It doesn't sift as easily as the other one, and is extremely heavy.

Oh I don't know

My experience with Tidy Cats NON CLUMPING litter is..well...not a fan. It may be ok if you have just one cat but for multiple cats, this just doesn't do the trick. It doesn't last for 10 days, even when using 3 litter boxes for 3 cats. It does it's job for 3-4 days. I was expecting the large bag to last at least 3 weeks. It only lasted a week and a half. To put into perspective, I've had the same luck with the store brand $3 litter as I have with Tidy Cats non clumping. Chewy is a wonderful company and this review doesn't pertain to their awesome service...just the this specific Tidy Cats product.

Way Too much

I ordered two ten pound bags of Tidy Cats and was sent one twenty pound bag. Useless for me, I can't even lift it. This is the second time this has happened. Obviously Chewy doesn't look carefully. Will not order litter again. The litter is fine, I'll just have to haul ten pound bags fron the rocery store.

bag too large

This is not what I usually buy. I buy the one with a handle . My cats were using the floor instead of the box since I started using this. And the litter grains are smaller.

NON clumping

Horrible - I bought this NON clumping litter by mistake (be sure to read the fine print) and it is absolutely the worst. Not sure why they even make a NON clumping litter - seems to defeat the whole point. Do NOT buy.
