Like the unscented litter
Overall Rain and Reed are fine with this litter. They especially like that it is unscented and that it isn’t very dusty. The downside is that even though I scoop it immediately after Rain and Reed pees it does turn into clumps that stick to the bottom of the litter box. Also they do track it on the floors a lot. However as long as my boys are happy with the litter I can put up with the rest.
It’s Soft!
I tried out this litter when I was able to get a better deal on it than what I usually use. I always go for a fragrance-free, dust-free clumping litter, because one of my adult cats has chronic upper respiratory. Although this one by Tidy Cats is usually more expensive than my usual litter, I’m really impressed with how soft it feels on my fingertips (and feet when I inevitably step on litter that’s been kicked out of the box). I will keep this litter in mind if I ever have to take care of a cat with declawed or otherwise injured paws.
Never thought I would review litter
I don't like switching litter, but I thought I would give this one a try since I was less than impressed with the one I had been using. The clumps are rock hard and don't crumble like they did with the other litter I used. I also used to have issues with the soaked litter clumps staying wet and sticking to the scoop, but this one is drying down into compact little rock solid clumps. The tracking is what I'm used to, but no smell, easy to scoop, and minimal dust! I'm permanently switching to this litter!
DO NOT BUY
This litter was great for years and then something about it changed several months ago. We not only started running through it faster than before, but it started CEMENTING TO MY CAT'S PAWS and both him and me were trying to pick it out of his feet. I don't mean a few granules here and there, I mean it was literally like he stepped in wet cement. We've been trying different brands trying to find a new one to settle on since. DO NOT BUY.

Finally!!! A cat litter that has NO smell. I have tried all kinds of brands and was still smelling a sweet, sickening smell. It was not due to the cat. I have been using this for a week now and it's great. No smell. The others had dust and the odor was terrible to me. Thanks for such a great product. You get what it says on the container!!!
My favorite litter.
This is my favorite litter. I love that it’s unscented and clumps very tightly. The dust is minimal as compared to other brands. It’s a little pricey. I try to buy it on sale when I can. Unscented is great. I can’t smell any foul smells coming from the litter box. With scented litters, I can smell them from far away and I find that bothersome.
don’t recommend
I have 2 adult cats and just got a kitten. I tried this when the multi cat scoop away was out of stock. We have four litter boxes. I clean the boxes at least twice a day, and completely change litter once a week. After two days they smelled. The tracking was also an issue as well as dirty paws. Went right back to scoop away as soon as I got to the store.
controls smells but tracks terribly
We used this for a long time but the tracking was ruining my hardwood floors so I switched (to something that was better at tracking, but not so great with smells). I never had an oder problem though with this so if tracking isn't an issue b/c your box is on tile or carpet this is a great unsented litter for multi-cat house.
Our picky cats love it
Our cats refuse to use scented litter and first we tried the light weight one, but they tracked it everywhere. This stuff is a good middle-ground. Unscented so the cats love it, and it doesn’t make as much dust as the light weight one. (No more litter on the foot of my bed!) There is some tracking, as expected, but there is very little making it past our litter-catching mat.
Very Clumpy
Pros: unscented, doesn’t hurt my cat’s feet, absorbs smells Cons: the urine turns into VERY large clumps, and it becomes very heavy and requires more litter to be added more frequently to maintain the recommended 3-4” of litter. All in all not the worst litter i’ve seen, but I’d rather spend a little bit more on Pretty Litter to ultimately save on the amount of litter I have to use per month.
