I like it!

Been using it for a couple of months now and I can't complain. Was using another very popular litter previous to this that became dustier and dustier with each bag I bought. This still has some dust of course but really not very much compared to other litters I have tried and I have tried a LOT. I love the inclusion of charcoal to help with smell and the fact this is free and clear. I have a senior kitty with asthma so I am always looking for what works best for her. I love that it comes in jugs as it helps me to measure out how much goes in each box, 20 lbs per box. It clumps pretty good for the most part. Sometimes they break apart but I notice that happens most when the litter needs to be changed out. I empty and clean my boxes every two weeks and near the end of that two weeks it isn't as good of course, but I think that is normal!

Dusty…Dusty

I’m very disappointed with this Litter. Changed to Tidy Cats on the advice of a friend. Always used Frisco, but recently their litter changed to very dusty. Read raves and apparently bogus reviews about Tidy Cat being 99% dust free. This is worse than Frisco ever was. Dust everywhere, my Black cat comes out of the litter box looking light gray…lol. But seriously this stuff sux, whole house is covered in dust from this. Hopefully I just got a bad batch or mixture, because I have two pails left. Terrible.

the best litter ever

This clumps really well, sticking is minimal, love the unscented, sifts so easily that its no effort to scoop compared to litter with chunkier granules like Dr. Elseys (Elsey's also sticks badly to pan). The 35 lb bucket is out of my weight range now, but at least you can use a scoop to get it out. The 20 lb jugs are uncomfortable to pour from if your back is weak, so the solution is to save the empty 35 lb bucket and pour 2x20 lb jugs into empty bucket--then you can scoop the litter out. (a 32 ounce yoghurt container works for this.) It's no dustier than anything else---that's just the nature of clay. But since this has a smaller particle size and the granules are rounded, there is actually less tracking because it shakes off their toes easier.

Very disappointed.....

Thought I would try this product again, I used this 17 years ago when I adopted my first cat, I've had 7 indoor cats, now due to old age I only have 3, so I know a bit about litter. When I started buying from Chewy, I tried the Frisco brand, liked it so I switched. So I purchased Tidy again, just to maybe find one with a little less dust, but this litter is so gummy when the girls pee, it sticks to the sides of the tray & the bottom too. My scooper gets all gummy every time I clean during the day which is many times a day. I was too hasty & purchased a second pail, this will probably be the last one. Guess I'll go back to Frisco. Sorry Tidy Cat, I use to like you.

No Dyes or Dust but super heavy

I tried this litter because I needed some thing that did not have dyes. My kitten has white paws, so anything with a scent turns his feet blue. I also cannot have the dust in the litter for me. This has been the best option so far. The downside is it does not do a great job of clumping and it is super heavy. Like it breaks the bag that I use to scoop the dirty litter into. I’m hoping they make this same product in a light weight option.

A new litter for us

I have always used pellet litter but since Yesterdays News was discontinued, I've tried several others. Recently due to cost, I decided to try Tidy Cats unscented clumping litter. Now my cats won't use the pellets anymore. That's ok. They love this litter. I find it much easier to scoop than the pellets and much less litter is wasted. It definitely tracks more than the pellets but I expected that to happen.

This is the worst

This has got to be the worst litter ever. My fur baby tracks it everywhere. It does not clump more like turns into mud that is extremely hard to get off the scooper and the sides and bottom of the litter box. At least with the tracking I can see where she has been example my bed! My husband developed a rash all over his body. We are thinking it's from the litter residue. Just vomit thinking about all the litter in our bed. Now we have to keep our door closed so that she doesn't come in until our new litter arrives.

Whats changed?

This has been my "go to" litter for years. However it seems in the last year or so something has changed as this litter doesnt seem to clump well like it used to. It is also incredibly dusty when scooping. Not my favorite brand anymore but I will continue to purchase to donate to my local shelter as they seem to prefer it.

Horrible, Horrible Litter

I have 5 cats and this litter is by far, the worst litter I've ever used. It doesn't remotely absorb anything, urine seems to just drip right off it and soak the bottom of the litterbox. Whatever does actually make a "clump," crumbles apart completely as soon as it's moved. This litter has nothing to help with odor and smells horrible from right after the cat uses it till its scooped. It also goes literally EVERYWHERE. Anytime the cats scratch the litter to cover up where they went to the bathroom, a ridiculous amount of the litter gets flung out of the litterbox and this is a litterbox with a cover. It's gotten tracked all over my entire house, including the bed. Needless to say, I will not be buying this litter again.

wow! this is a very exciting find!

I have switched litter several times. I need unscented and extremely low dust. This has both. Another plus is that it doesn’t seem to turn to wet cement in the box. I can’t believe that an old brand you can buy at the store is so terrific!! Yippee!
