Another one bites the dust
As others have said something has changed with this litter. I used to go a few months without needing to "get rid of it all" now I have to entirely change out the litter every week. The odor control isn't there anymore and the tracking is TERRIBLE. What happened Tidy cats?! I used this litter for two years because of the quality was unlike any other. I think my mom was right-time to make a switch to Worlds Best...
What is going on with clumping litter?!
I have used this for a few years and loved it. As others have said not only has the appearance changed, it is not performing as it was and should be. I have tried a few other clumping litters and they just aren’t clumping completely. Falling apart and I can’t keep the boxes as clean as I like so I have to change it completely much more often which is more work and money.
It WAS a great litter.

The Best I Have Tried!
I have tried many different brands and types of cat litter in the 6.5 months since adopting our litter mate kitties, and by far this one is the best! I have tried about 8 or 9 other litters, and I keep coming back to this one. The clumps do not fall apart, the litter does not hold onto any poop smells like it did with other brands! Its lighter weight than many other clay clumping litters, but it's not so light weight that it's sticking to the cats feet more than normal. My only complaint is that it does track a little bit, but no more than any other litters. It's much lower dust than other clay litters. I also like that it comes in the hard plastic container. I have an old jack in the box large plastic cup I keep inside the box and use it to refill with when it gets low. This is by far the best litter! Most the other brands I tried would smell like poop, and the clumps would not bind well causing smells in the house. With this litter there are no cat smells at all! Even my land lord asked me how my house smells so clean with zero cat odors!
This litter has changed for the worse!
I’ve used Tidy Cat litter for years and years. In the last few months the litter turns to clay mud with the urine especially on the walls of the box. It’s almost impossible to get the muddy clay off the walls. I thought it was me, but I see others are having the same issue. I’m now looking for a new litter. So disappointed!

favorite litter so far
I have owned my own cats for the last 8 years plus have fosters many kittens throughout the last 4 years and I have tried countless litters trying to find the best one. So far this litter is the one I keep going back to. The price is not terrible, it is unscented which is important as I have cats and a fiancé with allergies, and it’s scoopable which is the only type I like to use. I scoop my litter boxes 2x a day and top off with new litter roughly every 3 weeks. I only completely dump and refresh my boxes every couple on months (maybe 3-4 months). I don’t ever have an issue with a smelly house. The only issues I have is that even though my litter boxes are in the basement, litter still gets tracked even to the 3rd floor of our house which I have found is pretty hard to avoid even with other litters I have tried. I vacuum often so that’s just whatever to me at this point. However something I really hate is how dusty it is and I will say it’s less dusty than others I have tried by far but I still get a film of dust on anything near / around the boxes and even our kitchen since the basement door is located in our kitchen and we have a kitty door for them. I may try other litters in the future to try to find a less dusty one but for now we will be sticking to this one.
Horrible
Literally the worst cat litter I’ve used, the clumping is absolutely horrible. It doesn’t even clump the way it’s supposed to. It just falls apart into little pieces and falls back into the litter box and then mixes with the clean litter. Tracking is worse than any litter I’ve ever used. Would not recommend

Almost loved this litter
I was looking for an unscented, dust free or low dust, clumping cat litter. This litter checked all my boxes. Does what it claims and performed really well. My only issue is my cats tracked the litter everywhere. It felt like I was walking on little sharp stones scattered all over my hardwood floors and throughout my home. I have two twenty pound cats and it might be that my big boys will track any stone type litter so I don’t blame the litter. It just does not work in my household. Great otherwise.

Somethings has Changed!
I have bought this litter for many years. Never had any issues. 2 cats with 2 litter boxes and scoop daily. Same diet as always. The last few times I've ordered, the litter is not clumping and it's clay like making it so hard to scoop. I am going through it so much faster too. The litter seems much thicker than before making it hard to clump. Hesitant to buy again.
Does the job
I've tried many brands of cat litter over the years, and this one is my pick: Tidy Cats, Free & Clean, Unscented, Clumping. It does a good job of clumping the litter without much odor, it's easy to scoop, and the quality from batch to batch is consistent. It's one of the few brands in my life for which I'm very loyal and I will seek it out even at a price premium. I'm worth it, and so are you. Give it a try!
Very Wet Litter
I just wrote a review on the other litter. The litter clumps but stays very wet. I change daily and litter stays very wet. I used corn litter for years and was trying to find a cheaper 15 pound bag . This is very messy as well.
