Additional Instructions
- Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.
- Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
- Some would say cats are picky. Tidy Cats likes to think of them as having high standards. So keep this in mind when switching litter, and do so gradually.
- Start with 2/3 old litter and 1/3 new, increasing the new litter over time so kitty can get used to it. By the time her box is 100% new litter, she’ll probably think the whole thing was her idea.

Fragrance Free
By StormSongs on Feb 22, 2021
Where’s this stuff been all of my life? Seriously. Cats respiratory systems do NOT need scents & fragrances. IMO, they’re added to cat litters to make them more pleasant for people. No fragrances is a H U G E plus for my house pumas. They no longer cough from added fragrances. The litter’s hard clumps make it easier to scoop the litter box. I felt badly for the FedEx guy though. They packed two 8.8 pound bags of cat food and a 35 pound pail of Tidy Cats cat litter in one shipping carton. I think I may need to start tipping him.

Clumps are a joke.
By Lily on Feb 12, 2021
We've been using this litter consistently for a while, but the last two or three orders we've gotten from Chewy, it's declined sharply in quality. The clumps fall apart and mix in with the rest of the litter and lets out an overpowering ammonia smell from the urine. It also sticks to the litter box on the bottom and sides like glue, and the more you scrape it off, the more the clumps fall apart. Thinking we were just getting bad batches from online, we went to PetSmart in person and bought some there-- it was just as bad. I don't know if the formula changed or what, but this litter has become terrible, and I'm currently looking for a different one. Best litter, period
By katf on Feb 12, 2021
I ran out of this litter and had to borrow some scented litter from a friend. The fake floral scent combined with the poorly disguised cat poo smell was nauseating for the 2 weeks I used it. As soon as I got this litter again I threw an inch or so over the top of the flowery poo litter and, bam, there was the blissful scent of nothing. Of course I had to dump out the floral poo litter because my cat stirred it up every time he used the box, but it was that moment that sealed the deal for me. You have to keep it clean. You have to switch it out. It's not magic dust.... but when you do keep it clean, it smells of NOTHINGNESS and that's exactly what I want. 10/10

No dust less tracking, traps odors - but it goes fast
By Joyce on Feb 19, 2021
Great relief for respiratory concerns I think, as I see NO dust, & unscented - yet it traps the 'ammonia' smells as it clumps reallly well, but it goes FAST *maybe because it's trapping all the wee wee? Really easy to clean the box, no sticky on the pan. Also not having the tracking of gritty kitty everywhere, which just started to happen recently with the other brand we were getting *& had no problem with for 2 years, until recently? Still can smell the poo if you don't get right to it, but then it IS unscented

Best Affordable Cat Litter You Can Buy
By Josh on Feb 12, 2021
I recommend this to everyone as the best affordable cat litter you can find anywhere. In addition the 20lb jugs make it easy to pour and track how much litter I’m using (compared to the 40lb bags or 35lb buckets). I’ve tried just about every form factor and brand (big name and private label) in this price range and cheaper and this is easily the best bang for your buck. No visible dust, nice clumping, waste never makes it to the bottom of the box. It’s fantastic!

Unscented clumping
By Oliverschoice on Feb 16, 2021
I’ve used all types of clumping litters and found a few great clumping litters but the dust and scents would make me sneeze. Tidy cat has this Unscented and low dust option that I really like. It is not the best clumping but for the price it is worth it. My cat is liking it just fine. There is no litter smells in the house and not as much tracking as there was with the sandy type of litter. I will continue to use this brand.

I may need an odor deterrent...
By Diamondeatsthis on Feb 21, 2021
...not sure if this is typical with the unscented version but the 4 stars is because the smell when they first poop...OMG!! I am looking at some type of odor control for that issue. Maybe baking soda. I wish I could give 5 stars because I love everything else about this litter!! My girls went right to it upon introduction and the kitten (4 mos.) loves to play in it for some unknown reason! Go figure.

Okay for Budget Option
By mpb2 on Feb 17, 2021
I used this cat litter for over a year because it’s cheaper than comparable options. I finally decided to switch because I was tired of my litter boxes smelling and I couldn’t stand the dust when cleaning the boxes. I believe the smell was the result of a lack of clumping - the urine clumps fell apart while sifting the litter so dirty litter often fell back into the box. It does the job if you’re on a budget.

Tracking Nightmare!!!
By Alicia on Feb 17, 2021
I ordered this because it was recommended as a no dust, low tracking litter. I have four cats and the litter tracks everywhere in the rooms that I have litter boxes. Also does not keep odors away. I have a cat who has asthma and cannot have a litter that has a scent but I also do not want to smell the litter box. Very disappointed will not order again.

Pretty good!
By Kris on Feb 3, 2021
I never had a problem with cat litter could pretty much use anything and usually went with fresh step but the scented one made her have a sneezing fit every time so I searched until I found this one. You have to let it sit for a few after they use it so it clumps better. It’s definitely not low tracking and honestly I’ve never found one that was and I liked that it’s a little less dusty than the other ones. All in all I am happy with it. No more sneezing cat!
