One star may seem dramatic, but I switched to tidy cats due to the apparent Fresh Step shortage. I will say the only thing I do like is the jug it comes in, and it’s truly dust free. On the other hand, it does not compare to the odor control of Fresh Step. If anything I feel like this litter amplifies the smell of urine and it also does not clump well and gets stuck to the litter pan so much worse than the Fresh Step ever did. I will not be ordering this again.

Perfect for disabled person

I'm disabled and unable to lift heavy objects so this litter is perfect for me. It's a little more expensive but worth it. Not only is it easy to handle, it smells real good and is easy to scoop and keep clean. My Pumpkin seems to prefer it too. I can't read her mind but she seems to like it. I highly recommend it, especially to anyone living with a disability.

TIDY CAT LITTER

I AM 77 YEARS OLD AND NEEDED A LITTER THAT I COULD HANDLE, TIDY CAT LITTER FIT THE SITUATION PERFECTLY. LOVE THE LIGHTNESS AND MY CATS SEEM TO ALSO LIKE IT BETTER THAN THE HEAVIER LITTER. IT IS MUCH EASIER TO SCOPE AND CLEAN THE BOX. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY TO SENIORS, PEOPLE WITH HEALTH ISSUES, ETC.

Normally I buy one 20 lb Tidy cat this time however I opted for the two 8.5 lb light-weight which is easier to lift and store but may not last as long before needing to order more. I use a piece of pet furniture to store it

Don't buy

I bought this litter since it was on sale. Even when freshly put in it does not clump and the smell of cat urine is so strong. My cats are not happy. It's a waste of litter and money. Next time I'll spend more for better quality.

those stars are lies

I was using this for a couple weeks. Awful, horrible smell was emanating from the litter boxes whether it was clean or not. The fragrance doesn’t mask anything. I just got a hold of some Fresh Step and changed it out. I will NEVER buy this again

Not worth buying

The cats don't like it. It took a while for them to start using it on regular basis. It is also very messy, being lite liter, it gets scattered everywhere. It's more of a mess and more cleaning up after the cats.

Not the best light-weight litter

I have two male cats and I tried this litter because my usual brand is out of stock. This litter tracks SO much. There are clumps and litter parts all over my floors and furniture. My fluffy cat's butt and paws were covered in litter every day - I had to cut some of his fur. Lastly, because of the scent, it makes the pee and poop smell even more. Pros - The container is easy to carry/use and the litter is indeed light-weight and not dusty.

Replacement Litter

I usually buy Fresh Step but you had been out for over a week and I needed litter fast, so I bought Tidy Cats Lightweight Glade Scented Clumping Clay Litter instead. I like the odor control and the clumping but Spyder HATES it, he urinates and poops outside of his litter tray....a hint to me he wants the old litter back.

Glad Lightweight

So grateful there's finally a lightweight cat litter because I suffer from cerebella ataxia, a degenerative neurological disease, where even holding a 2 liter bottle, a gallon of milk, etc. will tip me over, always causing falls. Someone said the Clorox cyber hack will cause a kitty litter shortage but I've yet to see such. Clorox seemed to handle very well.
