Additional Details

We want to remind those with suppressed immune systems and pregnant women that a parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis. Please wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Encouraging your cat to use an indoor litter box, or properly disposing of outdoor cat feces, is beneficial to overall water quality. Please do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it outdoors in gutters or storm drains. Used litter is not recommended for garden use. Product is filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Transition Instructions

If your cat is new to Tidy Cats Pure Nature, change litters slowly by gradually mixing this in with your previous litter. Start with a mix of 1/3 Pure Nature and 2/3 previous litter for days 1-2, then decrease to 1/3 previous litter for days 2-3, and stop using the previous litter completely by days 3-4.

Clumping in Every Tidy Piece

At the heart of Tidy's patented, one-of-a-kind litter is their exclusive bi-component system. Each and every 2-part granule is specifically made to absorb odor and liquids PLUS clump tight. Unlike litters that rely on some pieces to fight odors and others to clump, every single piece of Tidy litter does both. That's basically a 2 for 1, in every single granule.

Formula-specific odor-fighting agents

Masterful Odor Control

Even better? Each powerful piece has also been given a little extra custom odor-fighting power, depending on your favorite Tidy formula. These odor-fighting agents neutralize odors from solid and liquid waste, delivering the instant, long-lasting or multi-faceted freshness you need. Sounds pretty super.

Exclusive Bi-Component System

The Down Low on Low Dust

Tidy Cats works hard to bring you low-dust litters. Their litters have an anti-dust coating that forms a microscopic web-like structure that helps prevent tiny dust particles from escaping.

Switching Litter

When switching to a new cat litter, be sure to do so gradually to help avoid any litter box issues. Start by cleaning the litter box completely, then fill it 2/3 with your old litter and 1/3 with the new. Slowly increase the amount of new litter over time. This allows your feline friend the time she needs to adjust to the new litter. Meow isn't that smart?

  • Disgusting

    By on

This product does not even rate one star. It is disgusting. Does not clump. Breaks up when cleaning. So kitty box is left dirty and then is tracked all over house through their paws, along with urine and feces. Do not ever buy this. Smells decent but that is about all. Sawdust!!!

  • Dusty as all get out!!!!

and that's what you should do if you buy this stuff....get out quick or you will be inhaling large dust clouds. Where do they come up with 99.9% dust free? This is the absolute dustiest litter I have ever "tried" to use. My poor black cats look like powder puffs....I even had one who refused to use it and did her business on the floor, a first for her in 19 years!! The fragrance is not bad, kinda like a forest but it also doesn't clump worth a hoot. I took the remainder of the litter out to pour around my holly tree and the dust went everywhere as I poured. Then I brought the box in and started to clean it and the dust was flying all over...better go wipe my bathroom down, I know it is in and that's what you should do if you buy this stuff....get out quick or you will be inhaling large dust clouds. • This litter works

    By on

I love this litter. Finally a non-clay litter that really clumps. We adopted 2 rescue kittens a few months ago and their foster mom used pine litter. We wanted to continue using pine because of the great odor control. I found another brand of clumping pine litter and it was a disaster. I should have realized that Tidy Cats had already developed this product. We have used various Tidy Cats litters since the 1980s. So glad I found this litter. Please advertise this more.

  • Great Smell

    By on

If your looking for something that absorbs odor this product is great for that! You'll have your house smelling like the outdoors (: NOT so great for clumping cat urine. I usually just sprinkle some of this with my cats normal litter to take away the smell. Also, if your allergic to dust I would advise against using this product but to each there own.

  • Better then the rest

Three primary reasons I highly recommend this product. First, it's light weight and landfill save. The bag is resealable and fits nicely away on a cabinet shelf. Second, unlike some other light weight litters, we don't want to smell odor when furry friend uses it. I hate cat box smell and rather keep stink nugetts a surprise when scooping. Third, it clumps better then stone litter does. Scooping is easy and pee doesn't sit at the bottom of the pan. Kitty still tracks the litter but it's mostly around the box. In my opinion it's not that bad. Easy enough to give a little sweep after scooping. I rather step on this litter then others ones with stones litter. The instructions doesn't give any recommendation for when to completely change out the litter. We are currently in testing mode to figure out how long we can use the initial litter before replacing it all. We are on week two with daily scooping and only had to add to keep the recommend litter level. So far so good. My estimate guess is two weeks plus a day or two to completely change it out. But hoping for three full weeks. One notable disadvantage is sticky poops not staying in the pan and sometimes stays on paws. :-( gross I know. … more

  • Best natural litter

    By on

This is the best natural litter I've tried. The smell of other natural litters makes my stomach churn, but this smells like cedar. It also doesn't get stuck in my kitty's paws and spread around outside the litter box nearly as much as regular clay litter.

  • Nauseating smell

    By on

The litter material itself is nice - small, flaked wood & corn. However, they've added some sort of fragrance or perfume that is nauseating. Yuck! I'm throwing it out.

  • Very happy customer

Absolutely love this litter. My last cat litter was very messy and turned into a,slimy sludge when disposing of it...yuck!!! Not sure it was good for the environment. This litter is biodegradable and easy to dispose of.

  • Absolute Best Litter

    By on

I have been purchasing this litter for my 2 cats for almost 3 years. i have tried all the others and they are either heavily perfumed, or too heavy to lift. i am disabled and cannot lift the other litter boxes. this is not perfumed , but pure, natural ,practically dust free, litter great for more than one cat. long lasting odor control, very minute dust . fresh clean scent all day long. used to have to go to different towns to look for it , as the stores here quit carrying it. not anymore.!! chewy has it all the time. and i don't have to drive to find it. thank you chewy for great products and great service!!

  • no clumper

This litter does not clump. And, it tracks horribly all over. It may smell nice, however it does not work for us in the "clumping" department.
