Great for odor control and almost dust free
I received this product free for review. My daughter has two cats and she allows them to go back and forth between her bedroom and her brother's bedroom. There bedrooms are both downstairs, so the cats pretty much free roam of the downstairs, as my kids both leave their bedroom doors open at times. My daughter has been trying out different liters to see which helps eliminate odor the best. We quickly found out she can't be around the dust of some liters either. I'm so thankful we were able to try this liter out. It definitely eliminates odor, as my son forgot to clean out the liter box in his bedroom for a few days one week. I didn't smell anything off putting that entire week. As far as dust, little if any dust is stirred up when pouring fresh liter into the liter boxes. My daughter doesn't have to wear a mask anymore when she pours this liter. She is definitely happy with this liter and looks like she will be purchasing this liter in the future.
Nearly everything I need in a litter…
This is a new favorite for my kitty and I. It clumps well (though it can crumble if I scoop too soon), doesn’t create too much dust, is low-tracking (I go barefoot and what I do step on doesn’t hurt). Kitty seems to like the texture, too, and covers his business much more thoroughly. When he dislikes a litter, he’ll stand outside the box and swipe a few grains over it with one paw; with this litter, he appears to take pride in his burials, lol. I also like that urine doesn’t seem to soak in as deeply, and I spend less time scraping the bottom of the box. He also acts like it’s more comfortable on his hindquarters, because he pees far less often on the sides of the box, and it doesn’t stick in his fur. If I could, though, I’d ding it a half star because it has a pleasant scent itself, but doesn’t control odor as well as I’d like. I have a single cat and scoop daily, adding litter every week and washing the box every two or three weeks. I always need to add deodorizer by the end of week one, where I’ve my previous unscented litter had better odor control and didn’t require deodorizer. It still checks more boxes for me than any other, and I haven’t bought anything else since I found it.
Good clumping litter - old formula Tidy Cats - bigger price tag - less litter
I used to buy nothing but Tidy Cats 24/7 litter, it used to be so great for solid clumping, but then Tidy Cats got so cheap and the clumping litter would never even clump, they cheapened their formula to cut costs which made me stop buying the product altogether and now this new product Tidy Care Comfort I believe is just the old formula of really great Tidy Cats 24/7 litter with a new name, smaller amount (24 lb. box vs. old school 40 lb. box) with the same price tag if not more depending where it is purchased, great case of shrinkflation and trickery, but hey, it's good litter if you want to spend a lot more for a lot less litter, I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
We like it, but...
It appears less dusty with this version of tidy cats clay litter, but there is still some dust. The fragrance is very light which is better for my asthmatic cat. ( I couldn't go for the Unscented version as it has black bits of charcoal). Three longer I use this litter the less in love with it I am. It tracks, the granules are quite small so I didn't notice right away. Now I'm finding black smears on her fur and on the countertops. I realized it is broken pieces of the clumps. Which leads me to my last con. The clumps are very fragile and break apart unless you scoop very quickly with a solid , not slotted, scooper. This causes you to waste more litter. But even then it starts to stick to the sides and bottom of the pan after a while. I tried sprinkling baking soda on the bottom of the pan ( which works with my tidy cats 4 in 1), but it didn't help with this tidy care comfort. I spent an inordinate amount of time picking out broken bits of clumps. The best points: extremely light scent good for asthma , overall good odor contol, soft feel for the paws, low dust( not zero) which is good also for asthma The cons: tracks little rocks and black wet clay smears, clumps break and are a pain to pick out of litter box, need to use solid scoop which wastes some litter Overall: good litter with some drawbacks
I love it, less dust
I been using tidy cat litter for a while now but this is my first time using tidycare. The thing that I love the most about the product is the low dust it makes it easier to clean and cleaner over all. The sand is much more smaller and the scent is also nicer not strong and it does not blend with the odor of the litter. Easier to scoop because of the less dust feature.
does not clump well
Bought this product bc of slick packaging- more compact & lighter product. Liked it initially but realized I was changing my entire pan more often bc of micro clumps my scooper couldn’t grab. Within a few days of adding brand new litter, the pan would be peppered with small clumps I couldn’t scoop up. Grossed me out to think my cats were pawing around in that. Switching again!
Low Tracking
I have an automatic cat litter box and thought I would try a different litter to see if it was compatible. The Tidy Cat Comfort Odor Control, low dust worked well with my system. I have 2 large mail cats that really pee. I found that this litter got pretty wet and mushy, I clean the box daily. And did not clump as well as the litter I was using before. It did definitely keep down the tracking outside of the box
Great litter
My cat loves this litter , it's dust free, the smell isn't to strong, it's nice and clums easily so I can just scoop it out. It works really well and tracks less than other littera. Comfortable litter for delicate paws
Tidy Care Comfort Odor Control Low Dust Formula Clumping Clay Cat Litter is a smaller sized litter that has some serious clumping power. The scent is there but isn't overpowering. My cat took to it right away without having to gradually introduce him to it. I have noticed that there are no odors if I forget to scoop out the box for a couple of days.

I received this Tidy Cat litter in exchange for my honest review. I really like this litter. It has a fresh scent and clumps very well. My cat seems to like it and I know it's more comfortable for her paws. Tidy Cat is a trustworthy brand and I recommend this product.
