I have two cats living on the 2nd and 3rd floors of my house. They have an open litter box and a hooded one. It doesn't matter which they choose, the litter is tracked everywhere and the dust is awful. I have to dust furniture every other day. My husband provided me with a mask because the dust makes me choke and cough. It's no where near 99.99% dust free.
My cat is elderly and doesn’t get around well, with this new litter she ends up with it caked on her feet at least twice weekly. It doesn’t seem to lock in as quickly as the standard Tidy Max litter. It also seems to track in her feet more. As well as producing more dust. Unfortunately I have another box of it. I’ll go back to the heavy stuff.
I have been using TidyCars for years. If you were toquestion just about any true CatMom, they’d agree with me that TidyCats fulfills all their claims. Longlasting, good odor control, & not dusty. I have raised many a finnicky cat. They have all preferred TidyCats and without any allergic or other resporatory reactions.
Thank you Chewy for making things right in sending us a new box of cat liter, when I reported that the shipped package had a hole in it.
I thank heaven for chewy and their care to see that they send the best products for my pets
This is the best tight clumping scoopable cat litter that I have seen.
If they love their cat litter - I love the cat litter. We have 6 cats, and go through a lot of cat litter. We have always used a clay clumping litter in the past and it has worked fine. However, hauling very heaving bags of cat litter up and down steps is not fun at all. I did start using the lightweight litter a few months ago for my upstairs litter boxes. Even though the lightweight litter is more expensive, it is sooo much easier and lighter to deal with that kind of makes up for the extra cost. Plus it does last just as long as the heavy weight clay. My only negative is that they do track it outside of the litter box pretty easily, so the cleanup always includes a daily vacuuming as well. The cats say "It's just like poopin on a soft cloud".
I totally love this product! Best cat litter I've used so far. I'll be using it from now on.
I'm socked at this litter. How can anyone use this? How did this pass their testing at Purina? Once this litter gets wet, it turns into sludge. It's basically just sludge that you've sprayed perfume onto. It's stay wet for over 24 hrs. So you can imagine how that is bad and horrible for the cat owner. They step in this sludge and then step on the dry litter that coats it and then they walk around with this mess flaking off everywhere. The clumps are very weak and brittle too. I will say two positive things about this though. It's obviously lightweight and it actually has amazing oder control. I have 5 cats and you'd never know that by scent alone. However I threw this away after only having it in the box for less than a week. Never again.
I’ve use this litter for years just fine, but recently, it is not absorbent! When my cat pees, instead of quickly clumping like it used to, the pee forms a sloppy puddle that runs straight for my cat’s back foot. He comes out of the litter box with a pee-soaked foot and leaves paw prints containing a mixture of pee and cement all over the house. Like, every single pee. It’s gross. Tidy Cats, please fix your formula!!
