I hesitated alot before purchasing this, as it was so expensive. I finally bought it as I was not able to find anything comparable and figured if it didnt work I could return it. My parakeets are really messy. They have a very large flight cage and for fun, (I think) they love to toss all the seed out of any cups. Two of them also like to "bathe" in the seed dishes and fling seed everywhere. It forces me to vacuum alot around the cage, even with seed netting around the base. This has worked wonders. They do not waste much seed now, and they can't fling it out! I think they hate it, as it ruined some of their fun, but I love it!! Well worth the seed savings and the labor savings!

This is really nice, like a window to see the birds feeding, and well made. Does keep the mess down, not completely, but better than anything else I have used.

At first I was hesitant because it is expensive. But this feeder is worth it! I got it for my parrotlets. There is a little “divider” between the front and back to keep the seeds inside. You’ll see what I mean when you get it. I put their seed mix in the back section, and veggies in the front. Truly less mess on the floor. Love it.

This is the second I’ve purchased. The first was over 5 years old, and had a crack from dropping after I purchased. It still worked well, but I just got a new Canary and wanted him to have a new one. No seed spill issues, and it’s great to see the bird without bars in front of him. It’s still the same quality construction as the first one.

Works very well and Chewy is the only place to buy this with hooks attached. Others had removal hooks that were hard to hang and easily lost. The cost at Chewy is even cheaper. My birds took to it immediately.

I wanted to love this but my cockatiel didn’t. Pros - well made and does keep food contained. There is no mess Cons - too small for my cage opening so had to be mounted inside. Perch is very slippery so my bird didn’t trust it. Bar that keeps food contained was too high for my cockatiels little neck My bird eventually ate from it but even after 3 days only used it when he was super hungry. He didn’t enjoy it so I removed it

Good idea, but not much help if they don't eat from it. I'm still hopeful as I have a lot of waste not.

Glad I took a chance on this rather expensive feeder. It does a great job at keeping the seed mess contained. No more messy seed all over the table or floor. I’m getting a 2nd one for the millet mess.

I'm amazed at how much seed was wasted before I started using 'Tidy Seed Bird Feeder'. I have parakeets, it took a minute for them to learn how to use the feeders, they're all doing great! I read reviews before I bought 2 of them and was unsure if they were true regarding how much less mess. I found that I have 95% less seed wasted! I definitely recommend this product.

Great concept but unfortunately does not work as it should. Absolutely no difference in seed scattering mess on my floors. Also due to poor designing..it's difficult to empty and clean. Just don't feel it is worth the rather expensive price tag.
