Feeding Adult Cats During Gestation and Lactation: Provide increasing amounts of food during the second half of gestation, up to twice as much as the normal intake. During lactation, provide as much as your cat will consume.
Feeding Kittens: Introduce dry food around the fifth week and provide as much food as kittens will consume from weaning until twelve months of age.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
3 inside cats won't eat it even after a week. Cats were given 4 low carb dry foods. Free fed. Trying to find one they like. Only took to liking one. That one was not this and they wouldn't eat any of the Tiki After Dark Variety pack of wet food.
It took some time for my cats to transition to this food, but it has been worth the wait. I’ve observed noticeable improvement with their coats, (no more static, soft and shiny), and they have huge energy now. I supplement with the Tiki wet food once a day.
My kitten loves Tiki Cat dry food! I use the kibbles as treats throughout the day because he literally goes crazy when he sees the food bag. He is all black and his coat is shiny and healthy. I encourage any cat lover to try this awesome, quality food.
I have 5 cats. None of them would touch this food. Stayed in bowl untouched for 1 day. They all literally took a sniff and walked off. Ended up putting outdoors for raccoons and any other critters that might be interested.
All of my cats have been on this food for almost a year. They really enjoys it and stay pretty healthy. Good brand
My cat is 16 years old and loves the Tiki Cat Born Carnivor Chicken and Egg Grain-free dry cat food.
The kibble is amazing my cat eats it well but the kibble bag came open.
Benny loves Tiki. His coat is shiny and soft. And his bowel movements are back to normal and he is satisfied. He was eating (for over a year) another brand high protein and I questioned the quality when he developed diarrhea a few months ago. I am glad I switched him to Tiki.
My cat has such tummy trouble that literally nothing worked not even hill science he would throw it all up until I found this cat food.(yes, we saw the vet they weren’t sure if he was going to live) I had to feed it to him 1 tablespoon every hour at first but soon he was able to eat it by the packet then we tried this dry food and HE ATE IT ALL WITHOUT THROWING UP ONCE! He now is 6 years old and thriving with his new best friend.
Goose loves this food! (and his mom likes the ingredients!)
