While I know that my cat does not need dry food (I feed Tiki Cat wet food twice a day), I still like to keep a little kibble out for her to nosh on, and if I'm going to feed dry food, I want it to be GOOD dry food. Tiki Cat provides the best. And I put a scoopful out for my neighborhood kitties. great protein source
By BigDogsRule on Jan 7, 2021
I have an older diabetic cat who came in from the streets a few years ago. He loves kibble, but he must eat a high protein diet one. I recently switched to this one. He loves it, and I like the quality of it.

what a waste
By raggiemumj on Jan 2, 2021
my cats don't seem to think this is food and eat around it. I had a sniff and agree it smells quite stale. i think they may nibble it out of desperation only so i'm guessing i'll have to give this away.

They didn’t like it
By Terrismith2010 on Oct 16, 2020 Top 100 Contributor
They didn’t like it. They didn’t even go near it, usually when I put down a new food, they get excited about it, but this one they didn’t.

3rd flavor of Tiki cat we ordered.
By HobbsandCo on Sep 18, 2020
Our 3 cats are crazy for this brand. One 9 yo boy and two 5mo old kittens. We like that its very high in protein. Its a value for the this kind of quality.

Great, healthier choice for dry kibble
By Kittycrack on Sep 16, 2020
I have a Sphynx cat and he loves this food! It is high in protein and low in carbs which is great for weight mgmt. since he eats more to regulate his body temperature. I have 3 furry cats as well and they love it too!

Too attractive as a dry food
By youmi on Sep 13, 2020
She likes this a lot more than her wet food. This is troubling me but might as well means it is pretty good.

Finally a food my cat will eat!
By Xtine on Sep 11, 2020
tl;dr my cat loves fish! And her poop looks better too! I adopted my cat just over 3 months ago from a local foster-based charity. Since our meet & greet spot was a pet supply store, we were able to buy the same dry food she had been eating (Purina Pro plan, salmon & rice) which she wolfed down at alarming speeds. When that started to run low, we bought a more meat-forward food to transition to (Blue Buffalo hairball, chicken & rice), and she ate the combo of the 2 foods just fine, though she seemed to prefer the fish-based kibble and bat around the dark “life bits” in BB. Until about 2 weeks ago. She wasn’t finishing her meals most days, and when we only had BB left she would barely touch her tl;dr my cat loves fish! And her poop looks better too! Until about 2 weeks ago. She wasn’t finishing her meals most days, and when we only had BB left she would barely touch her food at all. I “weigh” (i.e. hold & subtract) her about once per week, and when I noticed she’d lost 1/2lb in one week (5% of her body weight), I was concerned and knew we needed a food she would actually eat. I did a lot of research and wanted to make sure anything we got was high quality and meat-first. Tiki Cat was consistently rated well, and this flavor (chicken/herring/salmon) especially was on the top 10 of several lists! As soon as we gave her a scoop, she has been into it. The food is very “fragrant” (borderline stinky) but it smells like the fish it is made of. And because the kibbles can require some chewing, she has slowed down when eating. And I’m glad to say she has been leaving her bowl empty! And it may sound weird, but her poop has been looking so much better since we switched to Tiki. On the previous kibbles, her poop was consistently light brown and rather hard, but that seemed like her “normal.” Until this food. Now her poop is a much deeper brown and more pliable, and less smelly too! Good things all around. This food may be a bit pricier but for these results it is worth every penny! … more
