Feeding Instructions

Adult Feeding Guide: varies based on age / activity level / lifestage

  • 2.8 oz Can: 1 - 2 cans per 7 lbs bodyweight

  • 6 oz Can: 1 can per 7 lbs bodyweight

Transition Instructions

The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.

Zero or Low Carbohydrates

Tiki Pets believes that if it isn't part of cats' natural prey parameters, it shouldn't be in their food, and that includes carbohydrates. In the wild, cats eat little to no carbohydrates, and Tiki Pets has found that diets high in carbohydrates and low in animal protein can lead to health issues. That's why Tiki formulas are grain-free and contain low or zero carbohydrates.

Simple, Fresh Ingredients

All Tiki formulas contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and are made without corn, wheat, soy or fillers.

Excellent source of moisture similar to that found in natural prey to support healthy kidney, liver and urinary tract functions.

Great source of Omega-3 fatty acid, which supports joint functionality and promotes healthy skin and a lustrous coat.

Sunflower Seeds

Excellent source of Omega-6 fatty acid, manganese, magnesium, zinc and vitamins E, B1 and A. Contains anti-inflammatory properties.

My guys are finicky so they will likely go off this food at some point, but for now they gobbled it down in seconds and angrily screamed for more immediately! It was like an addictive drug. I went through a case in less than a week. It looks like finely shredded dark tuna and chicken in an oily gravy. My cats loved it!!

  • I could see myself eating this...

I'm trying to get my feline cohabitors on a low carb, high protein diet. They're stubbornly refusing to eat the new food, no matter how much of the ol' stuff I mix in. I don't think they'll do well in the zombie apocalypse, but I know "I" will, eating this Tiki Cat tuna and chicken consomme!

Already have seen a huge improvement over the Rx food we were feeding her. Her coat is looking beautiful, she's happy and content.

  • Our girls liked this from day one

We have two girls, about 13 years old, and they both liked the Ahi Tuna and Chicken from the start. I think they like the Ahi the most, but I like the fact it's mixed with chicken to give them some variety of proteins.

  • Pricey but quality

My kitties love this food. It is packed full in the can with tuna and chicken. It is listed as being in consommé but it isn't too brothy/watery as some of the other tiki foods are.

  • Shadow's favorite

    By on

My cat, Shadow, loves this flavor of Tiki Cat! He doesn't like dry food very much, so I tried mixing this wet food in with the dry. Now he happily eats all of his food and gets excited for his meals! The dry food Shadow eats is 90% poultry and fish, so I've recently switched him to the Beef Liver & Lamb flavor to add more variety. He loves that flavor too, but this one was his favorite, so I'll probably buy it again for special occasions.

  • It's the ONE!

My older Bengal wasn't eating her dry food anymore, only wanting to eat tuna. But I was worried that tuna would give her too much mercury (especially since she only weighs 9 lbs!), and wanted to get her to eat something with other protein sources. I quickly learned that she wasn't a fan of pate-like foods. Someone recommended I try Tiki Cat. Turns out she likes the 2 fish and chicken mixes. Yea!!
