  • 6 oz Can: 1 can per 7 lbs bodyweight

Transition Instructions

The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.

    Great for diabetic cats

    By on Top 250 Contributor

After one year on another brand of cat food, one of my cats was recently diagnosed with diabetes. The vet said to go low card/no carb and high protein. When I put this in front of my diabetic cat, he ate the whole can in one sitting! My non-diabetic cat is being a bit fussy though. Your mileage may vary.

    Spoiled Cat

    By on

My cat wouldn’t eat it, donated to a local shelter. Doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with it, he’s just fussy.

    Lacks taste!

    By on

My 8 cats wanted no part of this cat food. I don’t blame them as it looked awful when I put it in their dishes.

    Tiki Cat Tuna and Chicken

    By on

This food looks appetizing to me and doesn't knock you down with the fishy smell but my cats enjoyed 1 day for a.m. feeding and turned their noses up the next time I offered. The food looks clean, fresh, it is shredded with some sauce. I try to put small portions on their plate thinking that would do the trick and removed the kibble they love to turn too. No luck on this one. I will offer the remaining cans to a friend who feeds feral cats and critters. I would recommend to a friend because it appears to be quality - I just can't figure out why 1 day my cats eat, 2nd day- no way go away.

Tiki Cat Ahi Tuna & Chicken

    By on

I'm new to trying Tiki Cat and ordering to support my fur face that has Chronic Kidney Disease. Foods high in protein which this is help reduce the loss of muscle mass. I also bought the Dark Chicken and Pork. The problem I found with the Ahi Tuna and Chicken is it is very dry and has very little hydration added. The Dark Chicken and Pork is extremely hydrated. So I would recommend to the Manufacturer to add more water/chicken broth to this particular flavor cat food.

Great food. Wish the portions were smaller

    By on

Our cat immediately loved this food. Only problem is that he only eats about 1/2 - 2/3 of the can. By time he is hungry again, the food has spoiled. If we put the food in the fridge, he doesn't like to eat it cold. We wish there was a smaller size can so we didn't have to waste so much food.

No Finicky Eaters when we serve Tiki Cat!

    By on

We have 6 cats, so every meal time there's somebody who walks away after only a bite of food. But not when we serve Tiki Cat! All 6 of them chow down when Tiki Cat is on the menu. When you open the can, you can see why. It looks like human-quality food!

    Siamese are happy

My Siamese really like this food. I like the ingredients of Tiki without all the carbs which cats do not need. Happy with purchase.
