Two things about this food that concern me: 1. bottom of the can it says "FOR PETS ONLY" which suggests that the food is not human quality though we pay through the nose for it. and 2. nearly every can in this pack has tuna in it. Humans need to limit tuna consumption to a can every so many days because of the heavy metal... are they watching out for our cats when it comes to heave metals?
My cat is really picky and has loved every Tiki cat product I've given her so far. I give her the dry as well. The grilled selection is her fave. I take the can top and chop up and mix it for her bc I was worried about the bones but they are very soft and chop up super easy. Her fave is the sardine she gobles the whole thing! I'd leave it whole but she's elderly also I make it easier for her to chew <3
I read all the reviews and thought my cats might like this. NO they don't! Maybe it's the fishy odor or the small pieces of sardine, but they won't eat it. Gave it to my son's 3 cats who usually are not picky. They wont eat it either, and his 2 dogs ignore it in their dishes. Will stick to Tiki After Dark from now on.
I first bought the Aloha variety and didn't realize they all had pumpkin, which my picky cats were not a fan of. So I got the grilled variety and neither of us are a fan. They smell terrible and look gross too, mainly because of the sardines. It stank up the whole house and they left it on the plate. I realize this is all about cat preference and such, but it's looking like Tiki Cat is a no-go for us. I'll be needing to donate the rest of my cans somewhere.
I purchased this Seafood variety for the very first time. Our little girl who needs to put on weight and I frequently will find different things for her to eat, did not like it. Unfortunately, neither did our other five indoor cats.
I’ve been buying this type of Tiki Cat wet food for awhile now, and I was excited to see the big packs on Chewy. My cats love this wet food and I love that they’re full of actual food pieces like fish, and not just a brown paste.
My cat's love this food. I have one cat that is super picky and doesn't like any wet food except Tiki Cat. This assortment is their fav.
I used to buy Ciao wet food for my cat, so I was excited to see an American brand that claimed to use human grade seafood, but ultimately every can has a weird off putting smell. My old canned food just smelled like canned fish, but this one has some weird additive. Also, the tuna looks like ground beef? Very weird.
My cats absolutely love this canned food, I like that I can see pieces of the food in it and the ingredients seem good
Unfortunately, the ahi varieties make my cats throw up. They turn their noses up at the other flavors. I want to donate the remaining three boxes but I’m afraid that other cats will have the same reaction.
