For kittens, feed approximately 3/4 pouch per day per 1 lb of body weight. For adult cats, feed approximately 2 1/2 pouches per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
My girl ate this for a couple months. Really liked it. Didn’t care for the chicken only flavor but loved this one. Poops just got stinkier and stinkier though. Really bad and highly unusual for her. Constant smelly gas. Had to switch her to a different mousse.
My kitten is picky, and when I say picky- I mean she won't touch any other wet cat food but This stuff! (And i've tried over 10 different brands!) She LOVES it and is always excited to eat it.
I like this brand so I was really hoping my 5 month old kitten would like this mousse. She is a very good eater so I am very surprised she doesn’t like it. This brand is great, Chewy service was great, as always… it’s just that Mona doesn’t like this one
My kitty likes it but then he takes his paw after eating and tries to cover it up So I am confused if he likes it or not but he definitely finishes it but someone I know thinks its his way of telling me he does not like it but then why does he eat it completely So I am not sure how much he likes it so I gave it only three stars
This food was great for my 8 week old kitten to start on- he hated the texture of EVERY other food- but it caused stomach problems and super stinky poop in the long run (vet says it was the salmon). Would only recommend as a short term transition food for picky eaters
My kitten is super picky; this is the only wet food he will finish. He LOVES it.
This is one of my kittens favorite foods. I think it is the mousse texture he loves.
Recommend to kittens who doesn’t like to chew much. I put this as my dry food topper and my kittens love them.
Kitty did not like it at all. Took one whiff and walked away!
We have been trying to find a wet food to entice our recently adopted three year old shelter cat who had evidently never had anything but dry. Perhaps he needed to go back to a missed happy kitten hood but this is the gateway food. He loved it and then went back, now cleaning up his Aloha Friends which is the only other food we did not donate to the shelter who rescued him (from a kill spot). Thank you Chewy!!!!
