Recommendations vary greatly, based on your cat’s age, activity level and life stage. For Adult Cats: Feed approximately 2-3 pouches per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. For Kittens: Offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount.
Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding.
Always provide access to clean, fresh water. Canned food should be changed at least twice daily in order to prevent spoilage. Serve at room temperature, and refrigerate any unused portion.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.

My cat suddenly quit eating for several weeks but I happened to find this food and she loves it. We were afraid she was going to die because none of the vets could find anything wrong with her but after we found this she has been doing great.
Our senior kitty is on a special kidney diet now, but we use these as flavor enhancers to keep her interested in her prescription food. They've helped a lot!
My cat loves this new "soft" food. We use it to give him all his meds in the morning and night & it makes that process so easy now. It seems much healthier than many other cat foods, since it is grain and potato free. My only issue is it's not easy to get it out of the package without being a bit of a mess, since it's a squeeze pouch with no seal at the top, once it's open.
This and the Tuna/Mackerel flavor are the only cat foods that makes both my picky eaters lick their bowls. All other wet foods and flavors are a waste of money in our house, because half is left in the bowl.
My two kitties absolutely love this mousse as a treat or a meal depending on the circumstances. Never a drop left!
Tiki cat is the best! My cats go crazy for all the mouses and tiki dry.......I switch up also with the shredded tiki chicken! It is also low in carbs is what a stay with! High protein low carbs! or nooo carbs!..........Now two of my cats are hooked on the tiki canned after dark Pates! I do alot of rotation but stick with the same ingredients! another nice cat food is weruva but, tiki is number one! THANKU TIKI!
I have a 16 yr old with IBD and chronic pancreatitis. This does not rock the boat and she loves the flavor.
This is one of the few wet foods my diabetic cat will eat, as he prefers pate or mousse consistency to the chunks in gravy style that seems to be most of the canned food options. The salmon flavor is his preference among the Tiki Cat Velvet Mousse varieties that are diabetic friendly. I’m taking off a star for the packaging, because the box this comes in is flimsy and typically falls apart trying to move it between the Chewy shipping box and the pantry. They are made highly collapsible and perforated for display on the shelf in pet stores, so it doesn’t take much for the outer packaging to collapse or tear. I’ve found individual foil packets floating around the Chewy box more than once, because the Tiki Cat boxes don’t hold up. The individual foil packets also have problems tearing open in a clean line, so then it’s hard to squeeze them out onto the cat’s dish. I’ve given up and resorted to scissors to cut them open instead.
Niles is 13 yrs old and diagnosed pre diabetic. I switched to the prescription dry food but the prescription wet food was flaked and he didn't like it because he is a licker type eater. He loss weight and wasn't interested in eating so Tiki Cat Mousse, grain free, was recommended. He loves it and waits eagerly by his bowl now.
In college here….don’t have a lot of mula…and my cat picks this food out of everything else on the market. As a kitten she liked the kitten pate food. But when I switched her to adult food she didn’t like it. I have one cat (2 years) who will eat anything but he won’t touch this mousse (which is fine with me). However my little girl, who is the runt of her liter…pushing 8 pounds at 2 years old….ONLY wants this mousse. She won’t even touch her kibble without the mousse. So now I HAVE to feed it to her. After she eats she comes and cuddles on my face as a thank you mom for feeding me gold. I’d say if your cat is not taking to anything , or if you want unlimited cuddles, give this mousse a try. She’s able to eat and go around and play without me worrying she’s going to get skinny. It’s unfortunately very expensive and I hope there will be a new one on the market or the company could lower the price of it. It seems to me that most of these reviews are good but I’m noticing that most of the kitties on here ONLY eat this mousse and won’t go back to other foods. So star down for the price.
