The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your dog seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
I like Tiki dog food, it seems to be a good quality. The small cups are great. This is good, but too much liquid in it.
My dog is super picky, I usually put wet food on her kibble to get her to eat it, often times she just eats the wet food and leaves the kibble, I’ve even watched her spit pieces of kibble out, but with this food she ate her entire bowl including her kibble and licked it clean.
Well this was a quick favorite, is packed with shredded chicken, bits of salmon, pieces of veggies and broth. It's perfect on it's own or mixed with her favorite dry food, and she loved it both ways so I'm happy. It blows my mind every time I open a can and it actually looks like the picture and not some mystery paste, also smells really good.
My dog Kiki absolutely loves this and at first, the feeling wasn't mutual. Kiki's sensitive stomach rebelled - causing both of us to become extremely upset. I soon discovered that mixing in some dry food worked wonders and Kiki now loves when I make her dinner.
My Cliffors gets bored of his regular dry food but when I add this to his food he gobbles it up. I trust the Tiki brand and I am glad that it is grain free and I can recognize the ingredients in it.
My 8-month old Chihuahua puppy, Kiki, loves this! It even smells and looks good to me, who's quite picky when it comes to food and what I put in my body. The only disadvantage is a couple of hours after Kiki finishes eating...disaster strikes! My poor baby ends up with diarrhea - which is quite unfortunate since we're still 'potty training.'
I have a bigger dog so I don't do just wet food but I love to change it up and use things as food toppers. The packaging of this was really cute, and my dog loved having it added to her food!
I love how it has a liquid consistency. I am able to mix my dogs powder with the canned food instead of having to ad a bit of water to it, to be able to make a gravy. Highly suggest.
THE LABEL SAYS PETITES, BUT OUR GIANT ENGLISH MASTIFF DUTCH LOVES THESE! THE FIRST MAIN INGREDIENTS ARE REAL RECOGNIZABLE FOOD!
This meal is so wonderful! Top-notch nutrition in a form my pup loves. He eats this up and I am thankful for a company that cares so much for our animals!
