    Reformulated Lahaina and Kauai Lines

    By on

The Whole Foods line is the newer version of the Lahaina and Kauai lines that I previously fed my dogs. The company (Tiki Dog) told me, "They will be about the same formula, however we have switched to having all non-GMO ingredients in this food and we have taken the garlic out of it, based on consumer feedback." I'm happy about the garlic since I used to pick it out. Both of my dogs are big fans, and my diabetic dog, in particular, does well with this low-GI food.

I was pleasantly surprised about how this food looks and my dogs love it. I could honestly say that if I had to eat this I wouldn’t be grossed out.

    Pups Love this food

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My dogs love this food and they can be very picky. It seems to be heavy on the carbs (sweat potatoes and brown rice) so will not feed on an everyday basis. I love how you can see all the ingredients including the crab meat. Make sure to mix this food before serving as all the rice ends up at the bottom of the can. I share a can between 3 dogs so one pup would be left with all the rice if I didn't mix it up before serving.

    looks good enough to eat

    By on

My son fed the dog a can of Tiki and reported it looked like people food. That's pretty good from a critic.
