Timolol Maleate is a prescription medication used to decrease pressure in the eye. It's frequently used in cases of glaucoma to reduce intraocular pressure. This safe and effective formula comes as drops to be applied directly in the eyes. Customers may receive this drug under the names Timoptic, Betimol, Istalol, Combigan, Cosopt.
Timolol Maleate reduces the amount of fluid that is produced in the eye, which in turn decreases the pressure in the eyeball.
Possible Side Effects

Timolol maleate should not be used in pets with a history of hypersensitivity to it or any component of the formulation. Used with caution, if at all, in pets with heart block, bradycardia, heart failure, asthma, chronic bronchitis or other cardiopulmonary conditions. If you observe any unusual signs in your pet, contact your vet immediately.
