Do the cans contain BPA?
No, the cans are BPA non-intent.
How do I open the can?
The cans have pull tabs for easy opening (similar to a can of soup).
What do I do with leftover food in the can?
Cover the top of the can and place in the refrigerator. For maximum taste and freshness, serve the leftover food within 3 days of opening.
What if my cat doesn’t like the food when it’s cold?
Place food in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir the food to ensure it’s heated evenly. Before serving, smooth food with a utensil to increase your pet’s ability to lap up their food.
How do I best serve my cat their food?
Empty desired amount into your pet’s serving dish and smooth out the food using a utensil.
How do I identify what protein my cat will enjoy?
It’s important to pay attention to your cat’s behavior as you try new proteins. Some cats are picky and only like one specific protein such as fish or poultry. Once you understand what your cat likes, it’s best to stick to food purchases within that protein family, in order to increase enjoyment of the food by your cat.
How do I identify what wet cat food format my cat will like?
- Since cats prefer to lap their food, they will likely prefer a soft paté or minced chunks in gravy. The loaf format is easy for the cat to lick, and the food will stick to the grooves on their tongue.
- Paté format is a great choice for senior cats or kittens that may have a harder time chewing small meat chunks in a chunks in gravy format.
- If your cat prefers a chunks in gravy format and has no issue with chewing the small meat chunks, then this is a great option for your cat.

Not great can of gravy, my friends.
By Laura on Jan 12, 2021
It’s on me that I bought these cans of EXTRA gravy cat food and I did get what I asked for in that regard. My cat is a huge gravy fan so I thought she would love it. She was pretty much indifferent to it, however. That’s not a big deal because cats are finicky and one cat’s can of treasure is another cat’s can of trash. I do not know if the nutrition in the gravy is equivalent to that in the chunks of food so in consideration for the possibility that there are less nutrients in the gravy, the cost inefficiency of the product becomes apparent. One can of mostly gravy means you’d need to feed more cans for the same satiety for the cat.

They gobble it up!!!
By Tatyana on Dec 13, 2020
I have 4 cats, and 3 of them are absolute fans! My Abyssinian male has food allergies, so most grain-free dry food he either pukes out or breaks out in head and neck skin lesions. He makes up for it in lovely personality though! Switching him to grain-free wet food was a solution to that! I also supplement them with cooked/fresh turkey/chicken with raw egg yolk and nutritional yeast from Trader Joe's all mixed together. Back to food: it is a great value in comparison to many other brands, and Chewy delivers almost instantaneously! Not to mention their customer service is superb: they are always quick and willing to help! Needless to say, I am also a huge fan! I am hoping my Bengal cat, who I have 4 cats, and 3 of them are absolute fans! not recommended
By VivianTheOwner on Nov 4, 2020
I don’t know why. My two cats are not picky at all, and they would eat every new food that I bought them without any slow transition. However, they wouldn’t even touch this food!!!! I tried to mix with their current wet food and they just sniffed it and walked away. So my two cats don’t like it , I don’t like it too.

Great for my picky eater
By Renee on Nov 8, 2020
I ordered this because it was on sale. I have a kitty that is a picky eater and a gravy lover. When I fed it him, he put his head down and didn't look up until it was gone! I was so happy that I ordered more....and he still loves it.

Disappointed.
By BKCrew on Oct 31, 2020
Seems like really low quality food that my cat refuses to eat despite my attempts at a slow transition. Normally she will eat anything but has a sensitive digestion. She won't even go near this food.
