TRY THIS PRODUCT!

For years, my Tortoiseshell has suffered from hairballs and vomiting. Tried everything. She hated just plain Lax-atone. Vaseline didn’t help. My sister tried this for her Tortoiseshell and it worked great. I gave one to my cat to be sure she would eat it. She did and we have been using it for over a month now. Almost NO VOMITING! After all those years of hairballs, I feel so badly that I didn’t find a solution sooner. In the time she has left, I have vowed to keep her from vomiting from hairballs ever again. Just one chew, broken in half, and her stools are regulated and No hairballs.

Hariball Control Worked!!!

My name is Angel Kitty. I have been throwing up every day for three years. Otherwise, I am quite healthy for being 16. My parents took me to the vet and spent a thousand dollars to diagnose my problem, but the vet could not find anything wrong with me and sent me home. My parents have tried everything to help me, too, and nothing has worked. Finally, they got me some of the Tomlyn Laxatone Hariball Control treats. I am a finicky eater, but I love these, and they worked!!! I have only been throwing up about once every week or two! What a relief for me, my parents and their carpet! Yes, I would definitely recommend that other parents try this if their kitty kat has been throwing up a lot. By the way, I look just like the kitty on the bag -- long white fur >^o^< Thank you for helping me to feel better! Angel Kitty

They work!

As all cat owners know, unless your cat eats them, they won't do a thing. The first few days, my cat ate them immediately and even meowed at the cupboard they are stored in, in the morning. After about a week, he started to balk at eating them, so I took one of the reviewer's advice, broke each piece into three and he ate it without too much begging on my part. He has only thrown up one time and only a tiny bit in fifteen days since he's been eating these and that's been a first. Also, his poops are healthier. All in all, I'd highly recommend these.

Don’t waste your money

One cat wouldn’t even try it, the other cat put one in his mouth bit it in half and spit it out. Stick to the gel and smush it into the fur of their front paw so they have no choice but to lick it off. This Tomlyn brand of laxatone gel works thank goodness I bought both.

Not as good as the gel

I've used Laxatone gel for my cat for years. As soon as I switched to the chews, he started throwing up more. I was hopeful about these because they're the same brand and the gel is messy, but these don't seem work as well. I'm switching back to the gel.

Chews, Alternate Form of Tomlyn's Laxatone Gel is what we wanted.

I don't think there are really ANY perfect hairball remedies ** Only one of our two cats currently likes any flavor of hairball in GEL form yet he does have hairballs that often interrupt his meals. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Tomlyn also makes the gel in chews form and they list on the package the equivalent amounts of active ingredients in each form. I break up each chew three ways when feeding him due to his loss of many teeth and his tendency to swallow most everything whole. Our female, who also likes the Laxatone Catnip flavored Gel, is a small spectacular cat that also does better with smaller bites. You might want to think about this issue too since the chews are indeed very CHEWY and I think a bit large. I can not say yet if these stop all hairballs but so far the female has better results. The BOTTOM LINE is if you know Laxatone GEL works for your cats, this alternate form might be a useful addition.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** The main concern we have read about, of using most but not all, hairball GEL seems to be the potential for leaching out vitamins & nourishment from their food. Our solution has been to avoid using all such products within 2-4 hours of feeding them and trying to use them just once a day. Obviously the more time apart from any meal, the better. Vomiting up hairballs, sometimes right after feeding does not seem to be great for the cats either.

No go for my cat.

I tried 2 times to give it to my cat as a treat with her others. She ate all the regular treats and wouldn't touch the Tomyln treats. They'll go to another cat in need.

Does Not Work

We bought Tomlyn chews for our Ragdoll cat who suffers from hairballs. Unfortunately, the chews did not work and he continued to throw up hair balls every day We went back to Capilex (from our vet) which is the only hairball control that has worked for us. It breaks down the hairball allowing it to pass through the cat's system.

Cats love it

I ordered this hairball product because the one I'd been buying for years is now unavailable. Was concerned my cats would hate it, but they love it and the dose is less per day than the other one. My cats are happy, I am happy.

My Two Picky Fur Balls Love these!

Both of my VERY picky long-haired cats LOVE these chews! They've only been on the chews for 5 days, and I already notice an improvement in the moisture, size, and regularity of their stools--as well as less coughing and wretching! Highly recommend.
