Seem to work
By CatLady on Feb 28, 2021
I bought these to try because I have two cats who typically have hard, dry stools. I was hoping these would soften them. Unfortunately, only one of my cats love these. I give him two a day along with his regular treats. He enjoys eating them and his stools most days are softer than normal. The other cat does not care for them. If I persist, she may eat one. When she does, I do notice a difference in her stool the next day. If I could get her to eat one or two every day I am sure they would help her.

Cats loved, but now won't touch - formula must have changed
By Jewel on Feb 14, 2021
Very disappointed! I bought this product for my cats for many months. They ate the chews eagerly and they really helped reduce hairball issues. However, the packaging has recently changed and apparently the product has too. Chewy is still showing the original packaging that says "Chicken Flavor" on the front. Now those words don't appear anywhere on the package. And the chews have changed. They were dark brown; now a lighter tan. More important, whatever Tomlyn did to the formula that changed the color also changed the flavor. My cats, who loved these, now will not eat them. Rather than waste money on a product they will no longer eat, I'm looking for something similar from a different manufacturer Very disappointed! I bought this product for my cats for many months. Overall satisfied
By 2CatLady on Feb 8, 2021
I bought these for my senior cat and thankfully, she happily eats them. They're pretty large (in my opinion) so I just break into smaller pieces. So far, no hair balls! Unfortunately, my other cat turned her nose up at them. I didn't give them a 5 star review because of this and because I've only been using it for about a week so I can't be sure yet if effective.

Mixed Reviews
By Kacey on Feb 14, 2021
After trying and failing to get my cats to eat gel hairball remedy in the tube, I tried these. The reaction was mixed. Everyone liked them the first time I gave it to them. The next time, only two of the three would eat them. That's a start. I will continue to buy these for the two who will eat them.

Cat won't eat em'
By anotherfail on Feb 12, 2021
Well, this is the 3rd hairball "remedy" I've purchased and as with the others, kitty flatly rejects them. They have a very strong smell which apparently is not pleasant my cat; perhaps to some others? Hence, I'm not in a position to offer guidance on whether or not they work. Ugh!

Not for Misty
By MokeyFraggle on Jan 24, 2021
I was hopeful this would be the treat for hairball elimination but after a couple chews she refuses to eat them even mixed in with other treats. I had tried the liquid in the tube and she wouldn’t eat it so decided to try it disguised in a treat but she won’t eat these. Back to yogurt which she actually likes and will lick the bowl clean!

Excellant Hairball Remedy
By KittyMom on Feb 11, 2021
This product is an excellent alternative to the hairball remedy gels. It provides the same results with less mess and stress to my cats. I use it as a treat which the cats eagerly anticipate. I have recommended it to my Vet.

Best Hairball Remedy Ever
By Catluvr on Jan 1, 2021
I have a Nebelung cat who has long gorgeous gray hair. He does not like being combed or brushed and ends up with hairballs regularly. I have tried many hairball remedies and nothing worked. I read a review on Chewy and decided to try these chews. Amazing results! Maybe 1 hairball a month compared to almost daily. Was getting really bad for my boy! So grateful to have found these. He loves the flavor and they work!!

Only 1 a day!?
By 20awhit10 on Dec 9, 2020
I was not expecting my kitty to enjoy these (not sure why I felt that way) but wowee, was I surprised! He goes crazy for these! It's super hard to stay on the package recommended 1 treat a day routine because he loves them that much! He'd gladly eat as many as I wanted to give him! He doesn't have any issues with hairballs, but with the added benefit, I don't mind at all giving them to him daily. Will be putting these on autoship with my next purchase!

good and bad
By Alexie6x9 on Nov 27, 2020
I have 7 cats. I tried giving these as a treat to all of them. Not a single cat would eat it strait. This didn't surprise me greatly as I've tried many other brands and had similar luck. That's the bad part. The good part is these crumble up fairly easily and can be mixed with wet food. When I do that my cats eat it without complaint and it seems to work. I also like that for an average size cat you just need to give one per day whereas many other brands require two a day.
