Description

Tomlyn Laxatone Natural Hairball Remedy Chicken Flavor Gel Cat Supplement is a delicious gel for the elimination and prevention of hairballs. It is petrolatum free for your cat’s sensitive digestive system. Both long and short haired cats shed to some degree all year long. Bathing and brushing helps lower the amount of hair swallowed during self-grooming, but some hair gets into the stomach and it cannot be digested. It can block your cat's digestive system. Regular use of Laxatone coats the swallowed hair and allows it to easily pass through the intestinal tract. Laxatone is a safe, gentle, easy-to-use gel used worldwide for over 25 years. It has an irresistible taste... just place the recommended amount of gel on your finger or on the animal's paw. Chamomile has been added for its calming, soothing action.

  • Natural, petroleum free formulation provides gentle but effective lubricant for the elimination and prevention of hairballs

  • Safe and effective hairball treatment may be used daily to prevent and treat hairballs

  • Ingredient list changed

I rated this product three stars not because of the product itself, just got it today, but because the ingredients listed on your website aren't the same(order) as the ingredients listed on the tube I just received today. I was a little leary of ordering this product because of the ingredient chamomile in it but because it was the last ingredient listed I went ahead and ordered it, knowing the last ingredient listed has the least of that ingredient in it. Now it is the third ingredient listed including the active ingredient soybean oil... I'm not sure that I'm still going to give this to my fur babies because of that.

  • Edithann, my calico, really likes this.

She seems to prefer it to some of the other flavors. I am grateful that she consumes it, mixed with her food. Forget putting any on her paw. She's a professional at flicking it all over the wall.

  • Works great

    By on

The product works great when my cat lets me put it on her. She’s a very anxious girl and it’s hard to put it on her but that’s not the product’s fault. I’ve had no issue with it separating, I shake it for a few seconds and it works

  • Helps my cats

    By on

I won't say that this is a miracle worker, but it does certainly help my cats. We have tried many different products for hairballs, but this is the one that I always come back to. I wish it were made in a different flavor because one of my cats seems to be allergic to chicken, but I have only been able to find it in chicken. It is a very weird texture. It is very liquidy, so be sure to shake it very well before use. My cats love it. They'd eat it every night if I would let them.

  • Cats did not like

    By on

Very disappointed that this didn't come in malt flavor as my cats did not like this chicken flavor. Not sure if it is this product or just flavor. They love Petromalt & Sentry products but both of those are available in malt flavor. Unfortunately, Chewy did not have either of those products available.

  • Good So Far

    By on

So far, so good. Neither of my cats have had a hair ball since I started using this (one is a longhair). They love the taste and actually come running when I pull it out of the cupboard. The only annoying thing is that you really have to shake the tube in order to mix the product. If you don't, the liquid settles at the bottom and squirts out everywhere when you open it.

  • Too liquidity and doesn’t work as well

    By on

My cats are still getting fur balls. I tried this laxatone bc it’s cheaper and figured it was better because it’s natural, but nope. All my cats love the regular Maple flavor Laxatone and it’s nice and thick. This one is super liquidity and was falling through my hands. I put it in the refrigerator which made it better but 2 of my other cats like it but my 3rd is not interested so I have to put her dose on her shoulder so she cleans it off (good trick for anyone who has trouble giving liquids to their pets)
