What's the main difference between Tomlyn Nutri-Stat and Tomlyn High Calorie Nutritional gel for my cat?
Answer by ChewyMay 01, 2019
Both this supplement and the Tomlyn Nutri-Cal High-Calorie Dietary Cat Supplement have no differences. Both supplements have the same ingredients and functions for your pet.

hi will t huh s work for my dog who hasn't ate 2 days, he's very weak n I need something that can supplement his normal intake of food until he gets his appetite bck... he's 14 yrs old
Answer by ChewyJan 10, 2018
This Supplement provides supplemental caloric and nutritional intake and is high in protein and fat. Due to your pet possibly having a medical condition, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be a good fit for your little one's current treatment plan.

on the dog supplements, how much is the per meal dosage for a 25lb dog. I like to know how long a 5oz tube for example would last
Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2018
When the animal's calorie or nutritional intake is to be supplemented, it is recommended to give 1.5 teaspoons per 10 pounds body weight daily. When used as the main source of nutrition give 3 teaspoons per 10 pounds body weight daily. The 4.25 ounce tube contains approximately 25.5 teaspoons.

And how often should it b used
Answer by ChewyAug 22, 2018
This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

This product is a life saver - literally

Recommended to me by a friend, I added Nutri-Stat to the food of an emaciated fospice dog I have taken in. It has literally saved Bolt's life. In less than 2 months he is a totally new dog who romps and plays with the other 11 dogs, he's found his voice and though he is totally blind, he explores the house energetically. Thank you, Nutri-Stat and Chewy.

Best thing for picky eaters

We get a lot of undernourished animals in rescue. Often so undernourished we have trouble getting them to eat. This is great for getting animals who are used to fending for themselves outdoors to eat more nutritious food. Works wonders for putting weight on horribly underweight animals as well.

Picky Puppy for the win!

Our Toy poodle puppy is an incredibly picky eater we were recommended this product by the people we adopted it from and it is one of the few things he jumps up to eat (that isn’t our food, naturally…) I think our favorite thing about it is that it actually stimulates his hungry, so if he is putting his nose up to his incredibly expensive human grade food, a few licks of this and a few minutes later he’s over at his food bowl. He likes it so much I questioned how nutritious it was, but my vet said it was a good product… so here I am. Writing this review. Definitely worth a shot.

Kitty with Lymphoma

We ordered this for our kitty with Lymphoma. Sadly we had to euthanize him shortly after receiving it. We never got to try it. I gave it to a friend with older cats.

Finicky cat loves this

My 16 year old cat is pretty picky about supplements like this. This is the only gel one that she will continuously eat. Recently she has dealt with a number of issues all at once, hairballs, fungal infection, weight loss, dermatitis. This, along with the probiotics has helped her so much. Her fur is shiny and thick again, she has regained her energy and appetite, hairball levels back to normal. When she sees me pick up the bottle she comes running. So for her, she likes this a lot, and it has helped her.

Older dog underweight

My only female fur baby is older and underweight so got her this to supplement her diet. Took her to vet yesterday and was advised much tarder on teeth. (My fault) so went back on chewy.com and got plaque off, wipes and toothpaste. Too soon to tell about calorie paste. But it likely helped her not to lose weight. I'll keep you posted. Thank you.

Excellent supplement for older/ill dogs or cats.

I have been using this...and NutriCal...for years now, and I have found them to be great when you have a dog or cat off their feed. Mine have responded well to this product, and it makes me feel better that they will eagerly take a helping of the supplement even if they don't want their regular food for a couple of days.

Great Nutritional Support

My tiny, senior dog (14 years old, 4 lbs) recently had surgery and had a rough recovery. I bought this Nutri-Stat to have on hand to help her get extra calories and nutrients to recover.

Difficult to administer.

It's impossible to feed a cat a teaspoonful of gel. Following instruction to put some on your cats nose or mouth, my cat takes off when it sees me coming with this stuff. I tried mixing it with hot water so my cat could lap it or mixing it with food. Either way my cat will have nothing to do with it.
