Foot pad & elbow cream for dry cracked pads. Protecta Pad softens and moisturizes. It is a fast-acting, GENTLE AND NATURAL remedy which penetrates into the sublayers of the pad to get at the cause of the problem... dryness. It's unique formula will soften calloused areas and increase the pliability of the pad, while maintaining the resiliency consistent with normal healthy tissue.
Protecta Pad was originally designed to protect and heal the pads and elbows of hunting and working dogs exposed to harsh environments. It will also benefit city dogs who walk mainly on cement and where sidewalks are treated with chemicals for ice removal. It's just as good for dogs who develop elbow joint callouses from sleeping on rugs or hard surfaces. It's a PAWdicure for your pet!
This product is perfect for active, hunting, and senior dogs.
Protects your pet's paws from the icy conditions in winter and blistering hot pavement in the summer.
Formulated to restore moisture, pliability and resiliency to calloused paw pads and nails.
Fast-acting ingredients are quickly absorbed by the skin and penetrates deep into paw pad.
Perfect addition to a daily routine that ensures your pet's paws are kept in a top condition.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS: For external animal use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
The product only provides temporary relief for dry, cracked paws and does not protect the paw pads whatsoever. I find myself having to apply this cream to my dogs paws over and over again and I haven't seen any lasting results. Im now looking for a better brand; one recommended or created by veterinarians that is clinically proven to help with cracked paws. Don't be fooled by the attractive price, it's not worth it!
The smell is amazing

First off, the smell is freaking amazing! I wish I could find a lotion for myself that smells like it. I rub any excess on myself just so I can smell it!
Works great for the pup too! He had pretty dry pads, this fixed it by the 3rd time applying. His paws look so much better and don't feel rough. Look like his pads when he was a little puppy! I have used it about 15 times now and hardly any is gone. I take a fingertip full and spread it on my hand, then I grab his paw with my clean hand and then use my lotion hand and rub it. That seems to be the easiest way I have found.
Bought because it was cheap, wasn’t worth it

I bought this paw pad cream because it was one of the most affordable out there and it had decent reviews. A lot of the reviews say that it stinks really bad and they’re not even kidding. I don’t have the most sensitive nose in the world but I can’t say that this is terrible. LOL I don’t mean to be dramatic or anything but there’s no way that I would finish this jar. I used it three times on both of my dogs and the scent stuck around for too long. It definitely left a residue on their paw pads as well. I tried my best to do it right before bed so they had less of a chance of walking around on it but they did a few times and it left a greasy stain on the hardwood floors that I was able to wipeI bought this paw pad cream because it was one of the most affordable out there and it had decent reviews. I don’t feel like I did much of anything to help with softness of their puppy pads. Usually when you put something like this on you can notice it immediately but this was not that product. There’s others out there that are a little bit more expensive and they are natural ingredients so that’s probably where I’m going to look next since this formulated cream did not do anything that it was supposed to and it stinks sooo bad and so strongly. It’s just not for me.… more
Moisturizing but not for too long

I quite like this cream because its not greasy and its very easy to apply. However I feel that I need to apply it often cause the very next day my dogs paw cracks again or is dry. The moment after you apply it is sooo soft! Will keep using it!
The best product!

I have a 5 year old Lab who had tick fever when we adopted her leaving her skin extremely dry and cracked in areas from the medication she had to take. This cream has completely fixed her dry patches! We live in Arizona so her paws and "elbows" get dry and after a few applications she's the softest pooch! Plus the smell is amazing!
Awesome for paws!!!

Recently adopted a Senior Siberian Husky.
She had been abandoned in Puerto Rico. Her pads were SO BAD some were split open. In ONE week, the pads were closed and healed!! She is no longer limping and LOVES having her 'pedicure' now!
smells like wintergreen mints!

If you’re like me and want to keep your 6 mo puppy’s paws from becoming cracked and rough, I would invest in some of this. It makes such a big difference and she loves having her paws moisturized!
This works wonders for my pup!

My dog lets me put this stuff on with no problem and I love the smell and it really does add the extra moisture that your pup needs .
Leaked in transit

Only problem was that the jar was not put in a plastic bag and must have gotten hot in the truck and a portion leaked all into the box on to other stuff.
