Not Long Lasting for Large Dog
I bought the XL size thinking they’d be true to size and last as long as a couple other brands I like, and the price was good. They aren’t true XL size, more like large. My dog had the first one chewed down to about 3 inches within an hour. The ones I usually buy will last him a few days. These are softer than others, which is why he was able to eat it so quickly.
Great quality, long lasting
Finally found a good quality long lasting Himalayan yak cheese bar that my dog does not consume in an hour and does not leave shards on the floor. These do have a slight gamey smell if you get real close, but not objectionable. Do not forget to microwave the last bit into a crunchy treat for your pup
My one dog loves them
My one dog loves them. I bought a pack of 3. always looking for something new. My other dog has zero interest. so it's a win for the one. I like how they aren't messy or smelly.
Mold Issues
These had an "off" odor and were covered in a white mold or mildew substance. My dog, who absolutely loves cheese chews, would not have anything to do with them. Super disappointed that I wasted the money on this brand.

Too hard for aggressive chewer
We have used other brands of yak cheese and really liked them, but these have a different sound, more brittle. As soon as my aggressive chewer started into one, I was concerned that he might break a tooth. I tried making an indentation with my fingernail and was not able to. Too bad we cannot use them, because they are a good value, very large and longer than others we have tried.

She went straight for her gift bag, had the tissue out of the way and the Himalayan Yak Cheese chews out of the bag and settled in for a good chew! She loves them!
Wonderful chew option
Good chew option for strong chewers. About as messy as other bones but that’s something I’m used to. When the treat gets small you can soak it in water for 5-10 mins and then microwave it for 40-60 seconds to turn it into a crisp they can better handle at a small size. Recommend it to all my friends and family.
Himalayan Yak Cheese 3 pk XL from Top Dog Chews
When I opened the pack they were all moldy and had to be thrown away. Something needs to be done about it. Will not buy anything from that brand again.
