This toothpaste is safe if they ingest some of it during the brushing process. However, this product isn't intended to be ingested in large quantities.

Seems Good So Far

I'm not sure my dog likes this as well as the chicken flavored toothpastes but I do! She accepts it and doesn't smell like chicken after brushing so that works for me since she definitely has a morning breath issue. It is a bit thin, as others have observed, but that may make for better coverage on her teeth which overlap in the back, and are kind of hard to get to since she isn't the most cooperative pup. I'm just really careful to put the top back on the tube so it doesn't leak while I am concentrating on the brushing, and I do one side at a time with just a small amount of the paste. otherwise it would run off the brush. A little goes a long way.

Disappointing!

I have been using this product for 11 years on my two Westies as well as my dogs before them. They have all loved the flavor and up until now I was pleased with it too (in spite of the fact that the tubes have gotten smaller and smaller). I bought several tubes this last time to save on shipping. They have all been a runny mess. If the brush gets bumped or tilted before I manage to get it into a dog's mouth, it runs down my arm, the dog, my clothing, the furniture, etc. It is one thing to downsize the tube, but they should not have lessened the quality of the product!

The very best!

So many nice and positive reviews already for this pet toothpaste which has been a favorite for decades of my dogs and the dogs before them, but I wanted to chime in and add to the praises of this fine product! And since we know now that brushing one's dog's teeth is one of the best things we can do for our fur kids (next to feeding them a high-grade diet and providing lots of other loving care). Keeping our pet's teeth clean does so much more than just just providing clean breath as it will prevent much more serious ills down the road. This toothpaste has always been our favorite and in the Past, before I discovered Chewy.com, I ordered it from an all-natural pet supply source and very often this toothpaste was on back-order for weeks, leaving us no choice to resort to other brands to tide us over. My dogs immediately would notice the difference and showed their unhappiness very clearly. My last Golden Retrievers lived both past 15 years and had beautiful, strong white teeth because I brushed them nightly with the Triple Pet EZ Vanilla Dog Toothpaste. I recommend it for its appealing taste to the dogs but especially for its all-natural formulation, without the dreadfully not-so-great-and-we-can-sneak-that-in-because-its-just-for-dogs-anyway ingredients! When you use toothpaste for your pets on a daily basis (as you should to get the best results) it all adds up and undesirable ingredients, over time, can do their damage and cause harm. So happy that I can count on Chewy-com to supply us well with our favorite brand! Heartily recommended!

My dog loves it. She has never had to have her teeth cleaned

My dog is 15 1/2 years old. She loves the taste of this toothpaste. I brush her teeth with it every evening. She has never had to have her teeth cleaned at the vet. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great product!

great tube!

i tried many other pet toothpastes, and this is the only one where the tube itself allows you to use all of the product. like regular toothpaste tubes, it stays pressed down where you use it, so you can gradually get it all out. other brands have tubes that are plastic and pop back out after you squeeze them, making it very annoying to try to use it all. as an added bonus, my dog loves it. i brush her teeth every night before bed. she’s 4 years old, and has never needed a professional cleaning or extraction.

Pretty doggie smiles

I’ve have been brushing my dogs teeth since they were puppies. I have three dogs. When I get their toothbrushes out every evening, they line up. My oldest dog is now 12 years old. His teeth are pure white. They love their toothpaste.
