    Higher quality than most

    By on

We feed a colony of ferals and look for the larger cans of cat food like this. We don't like to feed the bottom-of-the-barrel brands that have a lot of by-products and fillers so we were happy to find this brand. Our colony seems to like it just fine, the ingredients are better than most, and the larger cans save on the waste of multiple small cans.

Sensitive stomach and finicky eater is now SOLVED!

    By on

My 12 year old rescue came with digestive issues involving constipation and daily Miralax. He is Huge, 18 lbs of skinny lazy old boy. I tried feeding Purina, Wild Blue, and Hills Science Diet to lackluster interest. His size requires 14 ounces of wet food for maintenance, but with each of those foods he chose to starve instead of eat, and constipation becoming concerning. Triumph Chicken Liver formula is dryer than other foods, but I always add water to my wet foods to reduce hydration concerns. My big Kitty eats a single 13.5 ounce can daily with Gusto! I feed him 2x and all the previous food is gone with each new feeding. Decent price, but none of my cats were fans

    By on

I bought this when one of my cats started having some constipation issues. The plan was to switch everyone over to wet for awhile, and having 5 cats, I was looking for some bang for my buck while still getting a decent quality food. Not a single one of my FIVE cats would give this more than a cursory lick, and none of them are really picky, especially when it comes to wet food. I can't recommend this for that reason--I donated my cases (I bought this and a fish based flavor) to a local rescue, and hope they are a le to get use out of them, but for me it ended up being a waste of $40.

    Seems like good food.

I am feeding 30 cats. Some like this and some don't as much, which is normal for any food I use. This seems to be a good food, especially for the price.

    My cats love it!

    By on

My cats are so picky and finicky and one of them has such a sensitive stomach that it is impossible to find food that he can keep down. This is not only affordable, but my cats happily eat it. Considering each can is a little over one dollar and the other food they like is over a dollar for a 3 oz can, it's a wonderful deal.

Dissappointed, great price, but my cats would not touch it

    By on

I keep researching wet cat food, and this one seems so great, chicken is the first ingredient and it's a great price, very affordable. But, my cats would not touch it, I tried serving it in the morning when they are hungriest... nope. I left it out all day, the bowl would remain untouched. So I tried giving some cans to my dad, who never gives his cats wet food, I thought maybe they would eat it....Nope. Even his kibble dependent cats sniffed it and walked away. Next stop, trying to feed it to the wild barn cats....again, a few licks, and the plate of food would just sit out all day. It doesn't smell bad to me, just looks like a mild pate, but I cannot find a cat who will eat it. Darn. Feral cats like it

    By on

I can smell the liver in it, so cats should love it. It seems like they do. They finish two cans (large size) in a short amount of time. Sometimes 10 minutes. We feed many feral cats twice/day canned food. They also get dry food (from Chewy).

A big no in our house

    By on

Because for months Chewy's has been out of my cats fave food I decided to try this food. With 11 cats in our household, 9 trying this, nobody wanted to eat it. I was shocked. It was not a big hit. Tried this one and another flavor I ordered and they both were two thumbs down. Ended up donating them to a very poor lady in our city that feeds 30 cats figuring she had better odds of someone liking it.

The only cheap wet cat food without byproducts

    By on

When I choose food for my cats, I don't care about grain free (most grain free brands sub in other sources of carbs that are equally unnatural for cats to be eating! obviously the ideal is a pure meat diet with limited additional processing, but this becomes prohibitively expensive). What I do care about is minimal processing and no meat byproducts. Triumph is the ONLY cheap cat food brand that does this, the closest competitors are far more expensive. We have two kitties, one who eats pretty much everything and one who is a bit pickier and has a tendency to like more 'junk' cat food with heavy gravies and sauces (he would rather starve and lose weight than eat food he doesn't find appetizing When I choose food for my cats, I don't care about grain free (most grain free brands sub in other sources of carbs that are equally unnatural for cats to be eating! obviously the ideal is a pure meat diet with limited additional processing, but this becomes prohibitively expensive). We feed both of them Triumph (rotating flavors), but for the second cat we do need to mix in a bit of the unhealthy gravy-heavy foods to make him eat it. Nonetheless, we already notice a huge difference in the quality of his poops since converting him to this mixture (as opposed to when he was just eating the other food by itself). His stools used to be super wet and stinky, now they are well formed and far less pungent. I hope Triumph never stops making wet food, because if they do we'll be so much more broke! … more
