  • treats molded

Ordered these treats 8/28, opened them probably a week or so later. kept them in a cool, dark closet and by 10/28 they had molded. At first I thought the white spots were something in the treat, but by the next week the mold had spread everywhere. I checked the top of the container for the expiration date and I can read the lot # and made in July 2017, the expiration was July something but it had rubbed the year off when I received them in the mail.

  • Jerky Treats

My Pom started barfing up the Beggin' Strips (I had been giving her 1 a day for a couple of years now) so I switched to the Grain Free Jerky treats. The top of the container was completely cut off below the plastic safety seal when I opened the Chewy box, but all treats remained intact in the container. These treats are softer, and they have a smell to them (not from spoilage, but from simply being jerky treats), but they seem to be much more palatable for my dog. I ended up storing them in a plastic container because their original container was beyond repairable. I'd buy them again. I only gave a 3 star rating because the package was too damaged to use.

  • Winner For Two Picky Dogs

    By on

I have a 9 year old collie and a 1 year old labradoodle. Both are picky eaters, but this treat is a winner every time for both dogs. I take one treat which is shaped like a piece of jerky, and break it off. Each dog gets about a one inch piece of it when they come back in after going potty, and there is still about two more treats left with that same piece. It is easy to break and does not crumble. I have it on auto ship now with each order of their hard dog food which is every 4 weeks. I think it is priced right and my dogs love it.

  • Moldy, need to refrigerate

    By on

Daisy loved these. Also, they are well-priced and easy to break in half. However, one container, about 3/4 full, had white mold growing in it. The unopened, sealed container also had mold growing in it. Both had expiration dates >8 months away. Perhaps these should be refrigerated. Chewy generously, and without question, gave me a full refund. The treats went in the garbage. The Triumph folks need to find a solution to this, as it would be a good product, if it did not grow mold under proper storage conditions.

  • Worm with webbing

    By on

My dogs loved these. The problem is that half way through the tub, I found a worm with some type of silky webbing in between two of the sticks of jerky. If you get them, make sure you inspect them everytime you give them to your dogs. We filed a complaint with chewy and they refunded the money, but money wasn't our concern. I see Chewy is still selling them so my actual concern is for folks that would not want to be feeding their dogs these treats knowing about the potential for worms in them.

  • My Dog Loves These

    By on

I rarely give 5 stars because rarely is there a product that doesn't have some flaw. Not these treats! They are great and my dog loves them! Not only are they tasty per my dog, but they are made with healthy ingredients which is important to us because our dog has allergies and needs to eat grain-free food among other dietary needs. Sometimes, I like to break in 3rds and hide throughout the room as a fun game to have our dog hunt for them. I highly recommend these :)

  • The pups like em but package broke before arrival!

    By on

They are good because my guys are picky but I guess the plastic container they are in kinda got crushed in transit and the plastic was open.. it let air in and the tops were dried out. I broke the dry parts off that were exposed to air and it was moist. I wish the container was sturdier and shipping better packaged..

  • moldy jerky treats

    By on

I have ordered these treats twice, not wanting to spend the money to ship heavy item, both times though the expiration dates were well within limits the jerky treats were moldy on the bottom. Please check these item or even place in refrigerator, maybe that would help, plus I have had a questionable flea collar which is still causing my dog problems enough to remove it.

I wanted you to know that I went to give one of these to my dog last week and the whole package was molded. they were stored in a cool place as recommended on package, but refrigeration was not recommended. the expiration date was the summer of 2018 so I threw the whole package in the garbage but felt I had wasted my money

I rescue but also have my pack ( my friends say I keep the rejects). I call these my bribe treats. One of the rescues would rather be outside than in but she loves these treats. I keep a jar by the doors and all I have to do is hold the jar up and here she comes. This is an American Company who you can call and talk to. They understand English and speak English. My standard poodles love these treats. They are soft enough that I can break them in small pieces for training or for the older, small poodles. The containers are well made and hold about 36 tp 40 treats. My dogs are picky, very picky but they like these. Love that Chewy has them and they can come with my orders.
