What country is this food made in?
Answer by ChewyApr 04, 2021
Triumph products are made in the USA by Sunshine Mills, Inc. They source all of their ingredients in the USA, but in some cases are required to originate outside the US. For example, the USDA requires Lamb Meal be originated from New Zealand or Australia. Flax originates from Canada because of production. Vitamins originate from the same manufacturing facilities used for human vitamins but they are also outside the USA such as France, Great Britain, Italy and Switzerland.

Truimph dog food

I have a very picky dog. This is the only canned food he will eat.

Triumph dog food trays

Sofi has been eating the Chicken Triumph dog food trays so I thought I would try turkey. She loves both! Took a few tries as to pleasing her with canned food - very happy she loves Triumph!

Great dog food / wrong price.

My dog loves the meals of victory trays. There are 4 flavors. The other three cost $12.99 a case. I pointed the error out to customer service and am surprised to see the price still hasn't been adjusted.

My fussy Havanese loves this and he doesn’t love food

I have a very-very fussy Havanese when it comes to food. Everyone says leave the food down and he will eventually eat it. Well maybe every other dog will eventually eat what is put down, eventually, but not my Havanese. He will not eat hard food either. I have tried mostly Blue Buffalo canned food, chicken and beef and Triumph turkey. Sometimes, if I’m lucky he will eat one can of one of these foods. Sometimes he will eat none of the above. There have been nights I opened 3 different cans and put them in separate bowls. After much protesting by barking at the food, he will choose one bowl to eat and walk away from the other two never touching them. I wanted something that was easy to open and pack for traveling. So I decided I would try this turkey by Triumph. And to my surprise and amazement, my dog loved it the first and every time since I put it down. Of course, there is always a catch. These small tins are only 3.5oz compared to a 12.5oz can. So to equal a 12.5oz can I need at least 3 tins almost 4 tins (my dog is 15 lbs and not a big eater). I have mixed one tin to a can of the Truimp 12.5oz can of turkey and sweet potatoes and he did finish his bowl much to my surprise. So at this time the only problem that I can see with using this food “alone as the main meal” is cost. Cost could become a factor if a dog will only eat this food as his choice if the dog requires more that 3.5oz per meal as my 15lb Havanese requires. Right now I am happy to have my ultra fussy-picky dog eat. But I have to add this 3.5oz tin to a 12.5oz can and hope he will continue eating both as mixed together. My Wish is this came in a 12.5oz can.
