When transitioning to a new pet food, do so slowly over a period of about 710 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% new for approximately three days.
I have the pickiest dogs in the world and this is the only kibble they will eat. This kibble has great high quality ingredients and it's the only thing my dogs will eat. If you have a normal dog or a picky dog I highly recommend this food to everyone. Triumph is a lifesaver and thank you Chewy for getting my dogs to eat their meals! Highly recommend!
My pups enjoy this food. They digest it well. No gas makes the family happy!
I love the ingredients in this food. My German Shorthaired Pointers love it and do very well on it. Only issue I have is it is not appropriate for Great Dane Puppies 12 months and younger.
Our dogs love it, so we are very happy! But use with canned liberally sprinkled on top.
I cannot stand the smell of this food. I had to turn on my exhaust fan to air out my kitchen after opening the bag. Im wondering if this is normal? My dog HATES it. This is the only food my dog does not eat. I am throwing it out for the coyotes. Don't waste your money like I did!
I have 2 dogs in my home. One would eat a partial serving and the other wouldn’t touch it. Normally they are absolute pigs when I get them and new food or flavor. Sadly this one was no good for us.
My dog is very picky in terms of dog food. I always have to switch out his food to keep him satisfied so I got him this in hopes it was so delicious, we'd never have to change again (cuz let's be honest, that price is beautiful)... However the first time I poured it out for him, he looked un-enthused and disappointed. He's been eating it lately, though sometimes it takes him some convincing but I'm worried one day he'll refuse to touch it and then I'm left with a half full bag of dry food. Their wet food is fantastic though, he's obsessed with that. To be updated I guess...
Switch to Triumph Lamb due to what we were feeding Max was discontinued. So far our 3 dogs seems to like it. Haven't feed it long enough to see any difference in the dogs yet.
The chicken and rice formula is on the recall list, and our St. Bernard ate this, (Lamb and Rice recipe) in October and started bleeding in stool and vomiting blood. Also, very lethargic and runny, unhealthy stools. Did a complete vet check and couldn't find anything - definitely thinking it's this food. Changed food, and bleeding/lethargy/bad stools ceased. Alerted the FDA, and they said the only way they find out about these things is by consumer reporting. Please report if this happened to you.
Dogs like. even the picky eater!!!! GoodValue. love Chewy's delivery service. Can't drive anymore, takes the worry out of running out of dog food because I can't get to the store when I need the food. They KNOW what is in the box when it arrives!!! Hard to find no corn,no soy formulas, this food does not cause the rash the one dog will get!!!
