Love it, but it's not for big cats
By JeriAnn on Dec 18, 2020
I bought this and I put it together myself. I love it and it's super cute, but my big boy can't fit well from one level to the next. That's why I gave it 4 stars. He's 13 pounds and long legged. I keep his food in the bottom, he goes through the barn doors and sleeps on level two. He's never been on level 3. We have an 18 inch overhang and his house is up against our house. We have to leave the barn door open for him and the rain blows in and gets his blanket wet and I have to change bedding often since it's winter. It would be great for smaller cats though. Wish they made it a bit bigger all around

Cute design, but rough build
By cjgist on Oct 23, 2020
This is definitely a project for two people and a magnifying glass to see the fine print on the directions. It took me 3 hours to put this together by myself due to a couple false starts and struggling to hold parts together while inserting screws. The raw wood parts are very rough and need a good sanding. While the roof seems quite study and able to withstand rain, one piece of the white trim was detached from a side piece out of the box, so I had to repair that piece with a couple brads. The feet were a total nightmare. The screws are so tiny and feet are fairly tall, so it's difficult to get the little screws into the holes. A magnetic screwdriver is definitely needed to make that installation This is definitely a project for two people and a magnifying glass to see the fine print on the directions. When it gets cold, I plan to line the inside with mylar which hopefully will make it cozy in the winter. In the end, I had a very cute cat house that the cat wanted no part of at first. Today, I came home to find my black cat chilling on the middle shelf. … more

Just what I was looking for.
By JLesko on Oct 16, 2020
Was looking for a tall and narrow retreat for our 2 small kitties on our screened in porch. There are 2 openings for the cats to get in/out which was also important to me - I wanted to make sure there was more than only 1 way in or out. The top is flat so that’s where their food bowl is so that it is out of reach from our dogs and toddlers. Assembly was easy. It’s a little more periwinkle in color than it is light blue. Came so quickly and I’m so happy it’s approved for their outdoor area.

Cute kitty home
By HeyYou on Oct 23, 2020
I got this for the community cats. It has been outside only a week and they are already using it. It is a good size for feral cats and can house a family or a 'pride' of about 3-5 kitties. It would be a little small for my indoor kitties.

Good cat house.

Wasn't that hard to put together. It is just like the picture. Good quality, and nicely made. Just hope my homeless cats will take to it.

Cute -but- would not buy again
By CatDad on May 31, 2020
****** Pro: 1] The house is cute - country like style 2] It is slim and so does not take up much space ****** Con: 1] Size: small, It is very small. The opening and the passageways inside are small - this is best for thin cats or kittens. Luckily I do have a thin cat -- but even then she hasn't explored the upper levels yet. She is long and idk if she feels too comfortable in it. 2] Quality: It came w/ broken/cracked parts. The 2nd level board was split in half so I had to modify it to work. The white molding on the roof was also broken-off on a few panels so I had to "fix" those. 3] Price: I luckily bought this on sale - but even then I think I paid too much.

Cat House 3 stories
By Charlene on May 1, 2020
I knew from the measurements, less than 2 ft sq., that it was small. But ordered it for the feral cats outside, that are smaller. Order 2. Put them together and put a sealer on each one. Needed the sealer for outside protection. While I had one cat house inside, it was inspected by the inside curious cats. One cat even taking over the roof for a nap. I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY. Thanks Chewy.

Hopeful for Good Results
By Bon424 on Mar 23, 2020
We have gone through so many houses. They just fall apart or rot. We are hoping this one does the trick. Hard to find a house that would fit more than one cat. We have 4 full grown feral cats and one baby. We have two other houses beside this. Time will tell. Right now the cats just look at it and sniff it. Having two entrance/exits is so important.

Perfect for fostering
By Jenny on Nov 16, 2019
We bought two of these, originally wanting one for our inside cats and one as an outdoor shelter for neighborhood cats. It is a little small for our adult cats so they weren't interested in using it. However, we fostered two litters of kittens and these were perfect for them. They loved playing and peeking out the little windows. We did cut off the plastic flaps in the side door because they're too stiff to function.
