My fav dog puzzle!
By lizzyo on Feb 21, 2021
Fun puzzle for the dog! I am actually amazed at how quickly he picked up on how to open each one. Yet, he forgets sometimes and it's still a challenge for him. Probably takes him about a minute or 2 at most to get all 4 treats out. So a quick one and done, but still something different for him to get excited about. This one if my favorite one, we also have the "flower" Trixie puzzle, and it is good, we still recommend it, but he can ram that one and the compartments will open, but not so much with this one. He is more required to take the time to think about each one and do what he can to get it open. The rubber on the bottom is great for not skidding and the stops keep the boxes in place. Fun - but my Havanese only took a few minutes to do it all
By jdsanger on Feb 23, 2021
I thought there were multiple ways to set up the puzzle, I read the directions after Ryder did all four boxes in about 3 minutes to see how else I could set it up. Then I learned it was flexible in that you could start one box at a time. So it is fun and he's always happy to see it (treats!) but I'm still looking for the puzzle/game that is challenging but also possible for a small dog. Some of the more challenging games require more strength or a longer snout than my 10 lb Havanese has. He's more brain than brawn.

She loves to do a puzzle
By Budsey on Feb 7, 2021
The dog now reacts to the question "Do you want to do a puzzle?" with excitement, which is adorable. She is pretty smart so she kind of got the hang of the boxes after the first one or two times, but she still has fun, it occupies her for a couple of minutes, and it gives her some mental exercise on days we can't go out as often. I just mix up the orientation of the boxes each time I prep it for her. From my experience with a VERY highly food motivated dog, I would recommend starting out with low-value rewards in the boxes. Now that she knows the basics of what to do, I like to vary the reward values of the treats among the different boxes to keep things interesting every time; but early on, The dog now reacts to the question "Do you want to do a puzzle?" with excitement, which is adorable. I was able to snap it back on, so it's still useable. All the boxes have taken a bit of a beating at this point, but I'll definitely keep using them until they break completely. Quite happy with this product, and will be looking to see if there are higher difficulty ones to keep her interested. … more

Love this puzzle toy!
By Caitlin on Feb 20, 2021
My puppy loved to figure this out. She chews on a lot of things but didn’t really seem interested in chewing this and was more concerned with trying to get the treats out. My only complaint is that she figured out all of them and can do them too easily now!

Good for Dogs and Cats
By Wren on Jan 10, 2021
My dog (50 lb pit bull) LOVES toys and puzzles that give her a mental challenge. She really enjoys this toy, but has already beat it up pretty good. If you have a larger dog, be aware that you will likely want to supervise them to ensure they don't just try to bash away at it to get the food. It turns out that my cat ALSO loves puzzle toys and has taken a liking to this as well. Don't be shy to buy this for your cat as a foraging tool. It is easy to wash and easy to put together for reuse.

Fun and Quick to Learn
By KAFO on Jan 16, 2021
When I first tried this w my dog I thought there was no way she was going to be able to get all of the puzzles but working w her a little bit over 3 days she was able to figure them all out. It's fun but now it's too easy for her so I fill it when she's outside so she can come in for a nice surprise. I would have given it 5 stars but I feel like she caught on so quickly that now it's not really challenging for her anymore.

Quality Puzzle Toy
By Kaycorgi on Feb 9, 2021
Perfect size and challenge for my corgi. Keeps her entertained and mentally busy for 15-20 minutes. Base is sturdy and isn't flipped. Hasn't been scratched or damaged while dog tried to figures it out from claws or biting. Easy enough to clean after too much slobber as well.

Amazing Toy!!!
By TonyR on Jan 21, 2021
I have had this toy for a few years now, and my Dog Baron ABSOLUTELY LOVES to find the treats in it! I only use it sporadically to keep him challenged and entertained, but when I want to tire him out mentally, I break it out! It also works wonders on impressing friends and family with how intelligent your dog is! 5/5 Stars!!! Absolutely worth every penny!

Great Puzzle!
By Cindy on Jan 19, 2021
This is a really neat toy. My 6 month old ausiedoodle likes to open the boxes and get the treats out. 2 were easy to figure out and 2 (the ones with strings) were harder. It was fun watching him figure it out. He walked around the toy and licked the tops of the boxes, then layed down and stared at it, then tried again to open the boxes to find treats inside. What fun!

Entertainment at its finest
By Hannah on Dec 29, 2020
I love this toy. My dogs like to chew on things and have short attention spans. That being said they are smart, if not a little headstrong. I love putting the treats in the apartment and watching my dog just focus on opening the boxes to get the treats. It doesn’t keep her entertained forever, but it keeps her focused enough on something that she calms down and will generally find something else to play with and keep out of trouble once she gets the treats.
