TRIXIE's Badalona 42.75-Inch Cat Tree & Scratching Post provides endless opportunities for cats to play, explore, scratch or just relax. Your cat can sharpen her claws on the scratching posts instead of on your furniture or carpet, giving her a healthy outlet for her scratching instincts. All posts are covered in durable sisal that’s made to withstand extended scratching. If a nap or place to hide is in order, your cat can crawl inside the kitty condo, covered with plush inside and out. And when your cat is feeling spunky, she can jump, climb or perch atop one of two plush covered platforms and lie in wait for unsuspecting prey to pass by or simply enjoy the view. This comfortable cat tree and scratching post combination is suitable for cats of all ages and activity levels.

I bought this as a second tree house for my two girls. I liked it because it was simple and very affordable. It is not, however, very sturdy. The overall construction lends itself to be quite wobbly and I think it is because the scratching tiers are so long and the actual base is so small. Luckily my girls are coming up on 8 months and love the scratching post area so I just put placed it in a corner on a non-carpeted floor.
great for kittens

If you have or are getting a kitten getting everything they need together can be pretty expensive, this is a great tree to at least start out. Reviews sayings it’s wobbly are true, but once I placed it in a corner rather then just stand alone those issues were gone and she can be as rambunctious as she wants on it. It’s a great size for the price!
WAY TOO UNSTABLE
on Sep 13, 2021
Do not buy this for your adult cat! It is far too wobbly and unstable to support most adult cats. My 8lb cat can barely even stand on the top without the entire thing shaking beneath her. When she jumps off of it, the whole tree almost falls over. This product should be removed from the site until the manufacturers figure out how to make it more stable.
Needs to be more secure

It's just the right height I needed. I opted to buy another cat condo as a climbing ladder to the window perches for my kittens. The 2 of then maybe weigh 6 pounds together.
Immediately upon assembly it was unsteady..
Needs a anchor or added secure heavy base. We made our own

It didn’t work for us. My 15 lb cat loves looking out the window and this would have been the perfect height, but it was clear from the start that it was too wobbly. I took one platform off and left weights on it for stability, and he still wanted nothing to do with it. I was hoping he might like the little cave, but that was too small. After a year of leaving it out without any luck, I packed it up and donated it.

There is a reason this is lower priced, and it's because the unit, when put together correctly, still seems to be missing parts. It's wobbly. Cat won't use it as a tree, so, I made it in to 2 separate scratching posts, which, for the price paid, is cheaper than buying a scratching post.
Cheap cat tree

Unfortunately this cat tree is not sturdy for a 12-15 pound cat. This is not worth the price. Put together and it is leaning to one side to the point were my cat cannot even lay or stand on the tree.
Cat Tree Tower

Very disatisfied with this tower. Even though everything is tight, the tower has fallen over a few times when my cat jumps on the top level.

A very nice tower. However, it's very wobbly and definitely doesn't hold much weight at all. I'd spend the extra money for a better one.
The incredible leaning tower

It wobbles. A LOT.
I blame the design. There's just the one pole keeping everything upright.
I got it when my cats were only 6 months old and by the time they reached a year, they could knock it over easily
As a result, they weren't comfortable getting on it and no matter how I bolstered the base with furniture and boxes, it wobbled like crazy.
I now have a cat condo that has MULTIPLE POINTS OF SUPPORT and it can handle both cats jumping on and off all day long.
