When looking for complicated puzzle toys, this one wasn't my first choice because its not as pretty or fun looking as some others. Well my dog loves this thing and it's the first puzzle to slow her down at meal time!

My dog loves this! It was easy to train her to use the puzzle and it seems pretty sturdy! It’s a great way to keep her occupied and stimulated.

Winner toy!
By Chris on Jan 27, 2022
When my daughter first ordered this for our pup, let’s just say I was a bit skeptical. Man was I wrong. Love the multi levels you can add and bite treats. My pup gets super excited when it comes out and loves the challenge.

Best puzzle for small, smart dog
By Mama on Jan 26, 2022
I never write reviews, but this puzzle is so great that I felt compelled to submit one this time. I have bought every Nina Ottosson puzzle out there, and they are either way too easy for my smart Bichon Frise or way too hard. This Trixie puzzle is perfect because you can adjust it and change it up all the time. The cones are a perfect challenge for a small dog.

Brain booster

My dog loved this toy! I enjoyed watching her figure out that sliding a door revealed a hidden treat, moving a cylinder allowed petals to turn (also revealing treats), and holding one part in place with her paw allowed her to find a treat in another section. It was impressive to see her think things through!

This is very cheaply made. You can’t look away or it will be chewed up.

I have a similar puzzle feeder, minus the blue stoppers that my dogs are familiar with, so this was not super challenging. The blue stoppers that go on top of the flower, easily fall off, so I don't bother with those. I have a 20lbs Terrier mix, and a new 40lbs rescue, both were able to solve with no problems. It has rubber on the base so it doesn't slide all over the hard floors. It will still slide, but takes a bit of effort. The blue stoppers (either size) can be lost and frequently end up under furniture. Both size stoppers work in other Trixie games, which is nice. Easy to clean (dishwasher) and it has held up so far.
