Description

Give your dog the ultimate challenge with the Trixie Mini Mover Interactive Dog Toy, Level 3. Created for the advanced gamer, this toy is designed to hold treats, and your dog will have to figure out how to get to them. The board features four levels of play that require practice and concentration, making it the perfect outlet for bored dogs to expend energy. There’s even an instructional booklet with tips and tricks to make the most of the game, and it’s dishwasher safe with non-slip rubber feet—meaning it will stay in place with even the most determined explorer.

Key Benefits
  • Designed for the advanced gamer with four levels of play that challenge him to find the treats you’ll hide inside.
  • Game 1 is lifting up the cones; the design prevents them from being knocked over, so they must be lifted straight up.
  • Game 2 is moving the multiple sliders to reveal the hidden treat compartments.
  • Game 3 is moving the knob to earn the reward inside the drawer and game 4 is opening the drawer using the rope pull.
  • Dishwasher-safe design features non-slip rubber feet and measures 9.75” wide x 7.75” diameter.

For advanced canine gamers. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

  • Go for a higher level of difficulty!

    By on

I took some advice from other reviewers and went for a higher level of difficulty to start. I was concerned with buying level 1 or 2 puzzles only to have my dog figure them out really quickly. This is a great toy for us to work on together. She gets very excited searching for treats, but I can see her using her brain to find them. So far we have followed the instructions that came with the puzzle and are slowly increasing difficulty and learning more components of the puzzle. I would definitely advise not to leave your dog alone with this puzzle as it can easily get frustrating.

  • Not sturdy or challenging enough

    By on

My pup is really smart so I thought this interactive toy Level 3 would be challenging for him at 4 months old. He figured it out within minutes and then basically lost interest. I was disappointed in the quality of the pieces -cheaply made. Had to put the cover pieces and slide-out pieces away immediately because he was more interested in chewing them (choking hazard). Would have preferred a sturdier base.

  • Takes Time to Train

    By on

I bought this for my corgi/terrier mix. She is very active and smart so I thought this would be a good toy for her. So far she likes it but it does take them time to learn it. You will have to work with them. There are instructions that come with it to tell you how to train them. I know once she gets the hang of it she will love playing with it. And why not, there are treats involved!

  • Not Very Advanced But Can Still Be Fun

    By on

I love puzzle toys for my 12 week old puppy, and so does he. Unfortunately I would not say this one is as advanced as advertised. The level 1 when I first got him was great but actually took him longer to figure out at first (he isn't advanced - we have some other toys that take a bit more time). He does love playing with the levers and moved pieces however!

  • Love it! Great interactive toy

    By on

Our two year old dachshund loves this and we enjoy the interaction with her. She can solve it pretty quick but the lever and drawer still make her think a bit. The knobs you set in are very easy to push out; she does not have to pick them up. We use them though as it takes a few more seconds for her to move them and then sniff out where the treats are.

  • Trixie puzzle dog toy

    By on

I was surprised how quickly my doberman learned how to use this puzzle, but it is still great to give her some mental exercise and she enjoys searching for her treats. She figures it out pretty quickly now, but it still keeps her busy for a little while when she needs a mental distraction from bouncing off the walls in the house.

  • Challenging Toy

    By on

I purchased this toy for my French bulldog. She hasn't mastered all of the challenges yet. She tends to lose interest if it takes too long to figure something out. I think she may be lazy sometimes. It is a really cute toy and she does get some enjoyment out of it and we'll keep working at it.

  • This is challenging my pup!

    By on

There is complexity to this toy, which is exactly what my pup needs. You can start easy and build up the challenge, based on watching your pup while they are playing adding a step at a time. So glad I got this! It is sturdy and will last a very long time.

  • Great toy for beginners

    By on

This is the first interactive toy I have purchased for a dog. So, I cant really compare it to other interactive toys. However, my 2 lb papillon puppy figured this out and finished the game within a matter of minutes. Unfortunately he also bit through the string on side, too. Other than that I am pleased. It gives him something to do.

  • Our dog has no interest

    By on

Our 2 year old mini pincher loves to play with toys and loves her kong, but she has no interest in this. She looked at my like I was crazy when I tried to show her the food inside. Now it's just sitting there, a useless piece of plastic.
