Created for the advanced gamer, this toy is designed to hold treats, and your dog will have to figure out how to get to them. The board features four levels of play that require practice and concentration, making it the perfect outlet for bored dogs to expend energy. There’s even an instructional booklet with tips and tricks to make the most of the game, and it’s dishwasher safe with non-slip rubber feet—meaning it will stay in place with even the most determined explorer.

  • Most Absolutely Amazingly Awesome Dog Toy Ever!

    By on

Owned by a brilliant 10 year old dog that would not play with any toy ever, until this! Fiona, our ever bored canine, waits anxiously three times a day to "play the game" as I became disabled and can no longer walk her. It was a Christmas gift to her and after the learning curve (less than a month) no coaching is necessary, besides advising her to "pull the string" or "ball". Fiona concentrates so hard on discovering the treats that she doesn't even eat them, just leaves each treat until she has found them all and since we play two games at once while I put the other game away she plays this one without treats until I command her to wait until later-just so excited that it is darling!!!

  • Challenging but Fun

    By on

My 6 lb yorkie loves this puzzle! She solved the Level 2 puzzle pretty quickly, so I thought I'd try the next level up and got this. It took her longer to finish - and she still hasn't figured out how to pull the rope, but she loves it. She's usually a little lazy (she loves curling up in my lap more than anything), so it was nice to find an activity that holds her interest and keeps her more active. My favorite is watching her stand on the puzzle and start knocking the towers over with her face, so adorable.

  • Love the Trixie food puzzles

    By on

I have a couple of the other Trixie puzzles for my dogs and love the ingenuity and quality. We started our dogs on some of the Outward Hound puzzles and they were good for dogs just starting puzzles, but the Trixie puzzles have definitely advanced our dogs problem solving skills and are durable enough to last beyond their lifetimes. This one is made for smaller dogs and both of my dogs are mixes that are in the mid-large dog category at over 50 lbs each. I love that this puzzle, in particular, is refining my dogs treat removal skills. Plus, it never has to be the same puzzle two times in a row. Trixie offers a lot of versatility.

  • Great toy for beginners

    By on

This is the first interactive toy I have purchased for a dog. So, I cant really compare it to other interactive toys. However, my 2 lb papillon puppy figured this out and finished the game within a matter of minutes. Unfortunately he also bit through the string on side, too. Other than that I am pleased. It gives him something to do.

  • Great toy for my blind miniature poodle, Joshua.......

    By on

This toy is just right with respect to "difficulty rating" as my Joshua learned at an even pace. It still remains a slight challenge for him in that there are several "tricky" moves he has to learn. Being blind, his nose can smell those hidden treats; and as a result, he doesn't quit till he finds them all! Fun to watch him so focused with his tail wagging with excitement!

  • This is challenging my pup!

    By on

There is complexity to this toy, which is exactly what my pup needs. You can start easy and build up the challenge, based on watching your pup while they are playing adding a step at a time. So glad I got this! It is sturdy and will last a very long time.

  • He LOVES this

    By on

My 17 month old Great Dane loves this puzzle! We followed the directions and he’s mastered it completely but still can’t wait to play, when I take it out. About once or twice a week. Every time is different and he enjoys the challenge! Thank you!

  • Our dog has no interest

    By on

Our 2 year old mini pincher loves to play with toys and loves her kong, but she has no interest in this. She looked at my like I was crazy when I tried to show her the food inside. Now it's just sitting there, a useless piece of plastic.

  • GREAT PUZZLE TOY

    By on

I rated the puzzle toy really well because it’s wonderful. It is very sturdy and has many more ‘features/puzzles’ than Level 2. Having said that my little boy, who could whip through the Level 2, had trouble with this one despite demonstrating. He got frustrated so we are taking a break. I think he would have done well on a Level 2.5 if there were such a thing.

  • Dog loves it

    By on

My dog seemed a little depressed and lonely after we lost our other dog and had a baby. We got this to help her keep mind busy and play with her in a different way and she loves it. Challenging but not impossible
