  • Australian Shepard loves it.

We've had this toy about 3 weeks and I use it to give my Aussie his meals on occasion. It takes a little time to load his food, but he really enjoys the discovery process. The pegs are no problem and neither are the red sliders, but the orange pullouts are still a challenge for him-especially the string pull out. He does carry off the pegs and chews on them. He gets very excited when he sees me loading up his tray.

  • Great toy for my blind miniature poodle, Joshua.......

This toy is just right with respect to "difficulty rating" as my Joshua learned at an even pace. It still remains a slight challenge for him in that there are several "tricky" moves he has to learn. Being blind, his nose can smell those hidden treats; and as a result, he doesn't quit till he finds them all! Fun to watch him so focused with his tail wagging with excitement!

I rated the puzzle toy really well because it’s wonderful. It is very sturdy and has many more ‘features/puzzles’ than Level 2. Having said that my little boy, who could whip through the Level 2, had trouble with this one despite demonstrating. He got frustrated so we are taking a break. I think he would have done well on a Level 2.5 if there were such a thing.

  • Fun to play with the pups

    By on

It is funny (and fun) to play with the pups and this toy. They don't have the drawers down yet - but they are so interested in getting the treat they are almost "out of control." They can do the cones and sliders - but for some reason can't get the drawers - maybe they are just too excited! This is a great interactive toy to use with your dog(s).

  • Not big dog proof

    By on

I have a great pyrenees that benefits from being kept engaged while I am at work. He makes fast work out of level 1 and level 2 puzzle toys. I bought this toy as he needs level 3-4 challenges. Unfortunately, after getting all the treats out of it, he proceeded to chew the toy. The toy is not sturdy enough to withstand a large dog's bite. It lasted one day.

  • Challenging

I started slowly putting treats in easy reach places. Then adding the more difficult places. It keeps her busy and interested. My girl is a 6 pound Yorkie Don't know if I would recommend it for larger dogs, light weight with their big paws might tip it over. Just my thought, I know how my little girl attacks it to get her treats out.

  • wrong item-chewy came through and made good

I ordered this for my 75 pound doodle. He is busy and loves these puzzles. We have others and this one was something new. I didnt know it was a mini size for a small dog, guess I should have read the title better of the product. So, these puzzles are awesome but this particular one is not meant for a large dog. Chewy refunded me fully and asked me to donate the item to a local dog charity. Will do just that. Thanks Chewy!

  • Dog loved it but figured it out too quick

    By on

This was my first puzzle with my pitbull. He has never done one before but he is smart so I decided to skip level 1 and 2 and go straight to level 3. He was able to figure this puzzle out within a few minutes and get all the treats out. I did not even show him how to use the puzzle. Kind of disappointed that he was able to figure it out so quickly. Will use again but sad it won't mentally stimulate him for very long. On a good note though it is dishwasher safe!

  • My dog isn't the brightest but these make him happy.

    By on

So I wouldn't say my dog is dumb but he is a bit like a real life Scooby doo. He bumbles about, knocks things over with his tail then cries because he gets scared, and he should wear a crash helmet. We originally bought the level one convinced he would be stumped but we forgot that like Scooby doo he is also food motivated. He solved that sucker with an urgency we've never seen lol so we skipped to level three. The pull cord is the only thing I don't like about this level. It's not long enough for a big dog to grab it. It's like trying to grip a hangnail with cheap tweezers. Other than that the more complex moving parts keeps him stimulated.

  • Fun for Kobe

My 50-lb lab and 30-lb grandson both have loads of fun with this. I break up a smelly treat and put them in the slots and let the dog at it. My grandson helps when he’s around. It takes about 5 minutes for the lab to get them all out, although the time may shorten as he uses it more.
